Some thoughts.

Ducati is a financial minnow compared to Yamaha/Honda/Suzuki/Kawasaki.

If Rossi crashes it's because he's trying too hard on a PS bike/tires blah blah.

Mr Rossi has a genius engineer, the best in motoGP in Jeremy Burgess,11 open class championships, and has stated that it is 80% rider 20% bike in motoGP.

Dani P beat Stoner on Michelin tires in 07.

Worldwide race attendance and TV audience are at record levels, and will increase in 08 with a European bike as Champ .

The only logical conclusion to me is that Rossi has shot his bolt and is a spent force in MotoGP.

Cheers.

"Stoner ''Stronger''" seems a bit of a mis-quote, but nice enough words from the two. I''ll be very keen to see the relative pace between the two after (or if) Marco gets settled with the bike.

As Stoner says, on paper there's no reason why he shouldn't be better (or faster, or stronger, call it what you like) in 2008. He's got a year with the team, knows the bike and tyres and has the confidence of having won it last year.

All a bit worrying....

But the big question is whow much better the other teams and riders will be and if they can take the fight to him in 2008....... :? let's hope so

Yep thats pretty much right. GO CASEY

Dani is good but he cant fight like Casey and Rossi, He will need more than a better bike to win.

Casey needs to stay fit and healthy and it will be all red roses in 08. :)

If it goes down to the last race then Stoner will win. He his mentally tougher then Rossi who has an habit of falling apart under pressure.
