honda has a reputation of bulding the fastest bike on straight, yamaha has the reputation of making a bike with good handling, but last season ducati made a bike with both characteristics ... the japs were shocked ...

I find it telling some peaple think last year Vale made heaps of ground in the corners becuase the Ducati was a straght line bike. Vale had to push harder in every corner to make up time (common racer stratergy), Casey was near the limit and had no reason to push as hard in the corners. Him and his bike were working perfectly everywhere.
NOW, in 06 thats excactly what Casey did and his team was not up to sorting out the bike resulting in a dodgy bike that chucked him when he pushed it, but he kept pushing it anyway????? I guess you see what you want to see, I feel for the other riders that get lost in Vale's shadow.

facts and reality aint easy to face for the rossi fans who have only been around as long as the clown has been winning. Pointless trying to explain the technology, craft, marketing that makes the sport happen. They see what they want to see and always will, common sense just aint that common

Ace27 is a very caring motorbike racer and is an Aussie Icon on this Forum,,,,,, some respect please as some of the writers here would only be straight men without Ace.
Doris sounds a well balanced person and new and should gain many new friends throughout the season.
