I see the loathing goes deep Ace, calling him a criminal and such.
The Italian tax office is after Capirossi too, for the second time, as well as various football players.
In Rossis case (and Caprrossis, he lives in Monaco) they are dealing with someone that lives abroad, he has a house in London and one in Ibiza. They try to make a case over cars he has registrered in Italy and thus try to 'prove' he lives there,
which is bull**** because he already left in his last year of 250 when it was becoming impossible to walk the streets in Italy because of all the fans chasing him.
He will work it out, don't accuse someone if you don't know the facts.

MOTOGP » Rossi: My dream is to stay

During Friday's Fiat Yamaha team launch, at Turn in Italy, Valentino Rossi unsurprisingly faced questions about his post-2008 plans.

I don't know about Yamaha, they might play hide and seek,
The bike seems to have undergone an aerodynamics change, very important cause it's all about detail in this sport,
the real test will be if the engine delivers what they want. Mr. Furusawa has explained his view on that and it doesn't coincide completely with that of Rossi. But Rossi is not an engineer, so...
The fact that he's on Bridgestones will be a moral boost, but against Ducati and Honda he can't afford DNF's anymore.

bla bla bla... Ducati this, Yamaha that....my dream is to see Rossi with Suzuki or Kawasaki before his retirement from this sport. He has his best time in switching enviroments:) just look at '04 season :D so the new chapter called "Bridgestone" is equivalent.

Great news for Ant West fans, Kawasaki have fitted his machine with satellite navigation to direct him to the correct grid position, incorparated into the screen will be the words NO,NO,NO, YES when the start lights go out,,,,,Valentio is after a modified version so he doesn't come off the track, he should save his money and follow the field like he has for the last 2 years. :) :) :)
The lastest Yamaha looks like a Moto Cross bike why so much rear end travel??? :? :?

bla bla bla... Suzuki this, Kawasaki that.... they will be back in 4th, 5th spot when Yamaha and Honda are on track :p
You're right about the change of environments though, I think when you have been on the front of the sport as long as Valentino you need a new impulse now and then, like Bridgestone (or Stoner for that matter)
