I see the loathing goes deep Ace, calling him a criminal and such.
The Italian tax office is after Capirossi too, for the second time, as well as various football players.
In Rossis case (and Caprrossis, he lives in Monaco) they are dealing with someone that lives abroad, he has a house in London and one in Ibiza. They try to make a case over cars he has registrered in Italy and thus try to 'prove' he lives there,
which is bull**** because he already left in his last year of 250 when it was becoming impossible to walk the streets in Italy because of all the fans chasing him.
He will work it out, don't accuse someone if you don't know the facts.

MOTOGP » Rossi: My dream is to stay

During Friday's Fiat Yamaha team launch, at Turn in Italy, Valentino Rossi unsurprisingly faced questions about his post-2008 plans.

great stuff Saltbush ;-)
When Rossi was introduced to the M1 for the first time he got to sit on it (not allowed to ride because he was still signed for Honda) and was informed about it's features. When asking about the functions on the large display the chief engineer (i believe it was Furusawa San) said jokingly: "there's a DVD player in there too, so you can lean back and watch a film on the straights"

Hi Saltbush, Yamaha has specialy made this for Valetino's off track moments...
But I have read that Kawasaki has a hugh amount off cash for getting Valentino (72 milion euro) I don't know if thats the case but that is a very tempting offer..

72 million is a lot of money, for one season? Surely for two?

Mijn nieuwe Yamaha is een SLG100S, zoek dat maar eens op in Google ;-)

The Yamaha looks like that because they took a picture with a wide angle lens Salt,
you would look the same if they took a picture from behind (...)
or maybe Rossi has gained weight so it is all 'negative travel' that will disappear once he mounts his steed :p

I must say Ducatis presentation was way more spectacular,
this looks more like a rollout of the new MZ lineup in the GDR in 1987.
That's as far as mocking Rossi goes for me, sorry Your Highness...
