I see the loathing goes deep Ace, calling him a criminal and such.
The Italian tax office is after Capirossi too, for the second time, as well as various football players.
In Rossis case (and Caprrossis, he lives in Monaco) they are dealing with someone that lives abroad, he has a house in London and one in Ibiza. They try to make a case over cars he has registrered in Italy and thus try to 'prove' he lives there,
which is bull**** because he already left in his last year of 250 when it was becoming impossible to walk the streets in Italy because of all the fans chasing him.
He will work it out, don't accuse someone if you don't know the facts.

MOTOGP » Rossi: My dream is to stay

During Friday's Fiat Yamaha team launch, at Turn in Italy, Valentino Rossi unsurprisingly faced questions about his post-2008 plans.

;)All you Rossi/Yamaha haters must be disturbed, on edge and I sense some doubt,
apprehension etc..That they may have a better package this year, with the better developing rider aboard to sort quickly whatever it may need. The next question would be why did they wait till now to unveil the M1 after everyone showed their hand..they must have something to show and tell. Rossi switching tires creates another brilliant opportunity to shut all you ***** up! I'll give to Stoner last year, but I doubt very seriously he can do it again this year with such ease. Before TC Rossi did handle the bike with skill, pressure not what history of races have you been watching marty :?

Marty came to the premier class together with Stoner,
that means he was a regular in front of the telly in 2006, though he fell from the couch seven times due to misterious (front end?) problems,
in 2007 he bought a new state of the art couch and strapped himself to it.
He will be strapped in one of these in 2008 if Casey doesn't win:

Errr its been boring as bat **** since Doohan retired actually pretty much except for the odd race since Casey came along thank god for the tyre rule change also, simply no competition for rossi on his primo Michelin shod rides. I have fond memories of Assen 89 myself and watching Randy "the real clown" do his real act on the warm up lap! Too funny beleive it or not their was life before rossi----- thats why I dont see why all the fuss over the clown? hes had it too easy for to long compared to the era of screamer legends ;)

I started watching GP in 2004 so I haven't seen the old races with Doohan, Sheene and so on, so I downloaded some old races. LOL they suck! The umbrella girls are wearing Borat style bathing suits. ½ the field jump start when the red light goes ON, the camera angles are joke, and the riders can make up 5 seconds on each other in one round. LOL at the old days! GP has never looked so good.

Can you believe it, there was life before Doohan too :)
Ofcourse the camera angles were a joke, it was not a tv sport,
but a spectacle everone went too, fans or not, mayors workers and countryfolk!
You sat in the grass and when the ants bit you ***, then tough!
When it rained you just got wet, like the rider.
There were pushstarts too, a moment of eerie silence after the warmup lap
when everyona watched and waited in eager anticipation
then BANG and enormous roar and a sickening cloud of smoke and out they came!

You think you can sum up a great sport by naming the two, three (let's not forget Gardner) Australian winners and Mamola,
ommitting and/or dissing the rest, time for a history lesson, start reading:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Grand_Prix_motorcycle_racing_World_Champions

btw they started racing way before that, this is the FIM overview,
the eldest race on the calendar (Assen) is held since 1924
