I see the loathing goes deep Ace, calling him a criminal and such.
The Italian tax office is after Capirossi too, for the second time, as well as various football players.
In Rossis case (and Caprrossis, he lives in Monaco) they are dealing with someone that lives abroad, he has a house in London and one in Ibiza. They try to make a case over cars he has registrered in Italy and thus try to 'prove' he lives there,
which is bull**** because he already left in his last year of 250 when it was becoming impossible to walk the streets in Italy because of all the fans chasing him.
He will work it out, don't accuse someone if you don't know the facts.

MOTOGP » Rossi: My dream is to stay

During Friday's Fiat Yamaha team launch, at Turn in Italy, Valentino Rossi unsurprisingly faced questions about his post-2008 plans.

about changing factories: of course, Suzuki and specially Kawasaki hasn't the racing back development which Yama, Honda & Ducati has. But....never say never:P

Push starts, what a great idea MORGUE, that would level out the weight advantage of the midgets like Dani!, do you think he could run fast enough with those little legs and then jump all the way up onto the seat. only joking, with all the abuse being posted recently thought I might introduce a little humour :)

I like a bit of fun PTO (Pacific Theatre of Operations?)

Here's my prediction for 2008: While the whole racing world is talking Rossi and Stoner
Dani Pedrosa runs away with the title. :p
Honda has publicly stated that they got it wrong in 2007 which is a big thing to admit for such a factory,
they won't makle that mistake again.
Making fast engines has always been their strongest point, Michelin is now totally dedicated to them.

Honda do well when they have the best bike AND the best rider. Whenever one of those is missing they lose, Honda will not win a WC this year, firstly they dont have the rider secondly we shall see about the bike, It is even worse when you consider Honda dont have the appropiate feedback. Look to 2009 for Honda to make a proper go of it when they hire a new rider.

Mind you I hope for Rossi to win it, but I doubt the M1 is up to it at the moment.
If they succeed in making it a winner again it will be a major achievement :)

Mr Moto, let me get this straight. You want to have an opinion & have that opinion taken seriously? & yet you don't even watch the post race interviews? Woah, I see a flaw there.

Marty says that the premier class has been "boring as bat ****" since Australian Mick Doohan retired, until now. Jesus, & they call Americans insul****

I suppose you always get die hard nationalist fans in every sport, however I persoally would disregard their opinions as much as someone who comments on interviews they haven't actually watched.

Dani Pedrosa is a great rider,
He's constantly being ridiculed for his size (as if that is his 'fault') but he is a multiple worldchampion
and has proved that he can handle a big bike. 2007 was a frustrating year for him, I bet he's eager to show what he can.

I think if Rossi leaving Yamaha, it's the best for all. Rossi definitely need a new challenge to keep him motivated. Even if Rossi win another title for Yamaha. It is best for Rossi to seek out a new challenge such as winning a title for as many bike makers as he could.

There are 3 manufactures left such as Ducati, Kawasaki and Suzuki for him to explore his capability to put himself as a different level of racing legend. It also good for MotoGP fans where every manufacture fans will enjoying him riding their favorite makers bike.

A year for kawasaki, a year for Ducati and 2 years for Suzuki just a nice plan before enjoying his retirement.

Dani is a good fast rider, but when you cant out brake or have difficulty actually handling the bike and diceing seems to be out of the question, you will only get so far.
There are a few other riders that have those things but lack the machinery to execute.
Dani so obviously needs to bulk up on muscle its not funny.
