Arrogant little ****. :-o Methinks he listens to Uncle Alberto too much... who has been a MotoGP World Champion? And who hasn''t, even with a tailor-made 800cc series?

Looks like Pedrosa is becoming another Lewis Hamilton,he's beginning to believe his own hype.Nicky hayden is not only a decent rider but more importantly a decent human being and unlike Pedrosa is willing to talk to the media and is not arrogant

I agree with you all about Nicky but Like Hamilton, Dani is worlds class fast. Unfortunately being nice does not count when winning titles and I feel Dani has far more chance of doing that than Nicky this year.

I don't think Dani is a bad guy. I expect his comments were in Spanish and translated badly or taken out of context. Sure he not exactly the warmest human being but I think he is a decent chap.

Nicky is a gentleman and he could teach a few of about how to treat people but he really isn't quite as good as the top three. Stoner, Rossi and Dani (my opionion only)

OK everybody, is there anybody who speaks spanish? Well, I do. And I have read Dani'' s comments in the spanish press. Dani DIDN'' T make this statement on his own, he was ASKED by a reporter (and i quote) : "Are you worried that your teammate is going to develop the bike? Because he didn'' t do very well last year". So, this is how they took it out of him. And to be honest I would be very worried myself if I was Dani, ''cause Hayden didn'' t do anything good for last year'' s bike and when Honda started listening to Dani and following his directions Nicky started wining :" I want that mr. Pedrosa has..."

In Hayden's defense, its kind of hard to develop a bike that was specially made for 5'1" Pedrosa. It was WAY to small and was not built in any way to help him defend his title. OH thats right, Nicky was the CURRENT DEFENDING world champion and had no say so in the 07 RCV. Nicky said when he first saw the 07 RCV, he has stunned at how small it was and not happy at all with the new bike!

Obviously Honda didn't want Nicky to have a fighting chance to repeat or else they would have given him the proper bike to do so. So they threw all their efforts into Dani.

Even Marco said after a GP that he wished Dani would go ahead and win so someone other then Dani can get some support from HRC.

And Marco was riding for Grensini Honda. HRC was so biased that all their teams suffered greatly and poor Team Roberts got thrown under the bus. Every RCV rider suffered in 07 except Pedrosa. Carlos Checa said that the 07 RCV was the WORST bike he has ever ridden.
So that doesnt speak well for the angry smurf and his so called "development" in the 07 RCV.

I still say regardless hes still a douche for ragging on his team mate and i hope he gets what he deserves. he has alot of growing up too do.

fan of the sport have you also forgotten that dani too didn't finish quite a few races coz he was also taken out by riders. one time of which he spent the time between then and the next race in a neck brace. face the facts dani can develop and set up the bike alot better than nicky. because even after quites s few DNFs he was still 2nd. :)

Randy de Puniet does a fine job on that worst bike ever...

Thank you very much Spirito, your translation makes all the difference, the press can make or break a rider.
The buzz around MotoGP is amazing, jut like F1, talk talk, gossip, rumours.
I'm not saying Pedrosa is the most fun person in the paddock but I am sure there is more than meets the eye.
The way the guy is ridiculed over here because of his size and lack of smiles is a bad example.

Pedrosa + Puig = ***

Nick don't care about the press, he'll just go out and do his thing (time and time again).

Nick + Earl = Class

Peace, out.

Emma, you said in your post directed at me, "because even after quite a few DNFs he was still 2nd."

You mean like the DNF Rossi had in Valencia which put Dani in 2nd? Dani did a swell job of develping the 2007 RC212v. So much so that HRC is running a completely different version for the factory boys this year. Nicky was only in charge of developing the 16" Michelin rubber. It wasn't fun, I'm sure.

I have no doubt of Pedrosa's skill as a rider, but he is the one lacking in development skills; a task that he will be side-stepping this preseason mostly. I suppose he and all of the 'Nicky sux' crowd can use that to slag him if the bike is not what it should be
