And what if little far Dani didn't take Hayden out in Portugal I think it was. Also, what if Rossi didn't dump the bike at Valencia. Rossi had poor season, but Hayden also had a crap run towards the last race. It was open going into the final round. Once rider took the pressure and finished the race, the other didn't.

I think that fact that Repsol is a major part of the team isthe main reasons last years bike seemed to be designed for Dani's frame andstyle, both being Spanish. It's not cool to start calling out your team mate... Especially after you nearly ruined his championship

If's don't count, Hayden won it in 2006.

One thing: Honda admitted they 'got it wrong' with the 2007 bike. The Big Factory admitted they made a mistake
in thinking 2007 would be a transitional year, they underestimated the level of the competition.
The bike looked to have been built with Pedrosa in mind (also convenient for Elias, Melandri and other small riders)
the 2008 bike seems to be bigger again.

Whether he actually said what was attributed to him or no, Pedrosa is an arrogant, selfish, nasty piece of work, totally devoid of personality and humility.

Hayden is a genuinely decent bloke who gives his all every time he's on the bike, and actually has the cojones to say what he thinks directly rather than via a sceret squirrel whispering campaign.

The biggest ***** in all of this are HRC for elevating the little Spanish **** to a position of alleged seniority within the team.

I hope Hayden kicks his **** along with everyone else....

There are journalists working with big daily papers in Spain who go into press conferences looking for the dynamite quote that will make the headline. The question that Dani was asked, I believe by Mela of El As, was loaded...but fair. Dani didn´t duck it and answered the question as to whether he was worried that, with him injured, Nicky would develop the bike. He replied, "Yes, a little. Historically when he has been in charge it has not been beneficial."
Certainly when riders of such different physical types and such different riding styles and backgrounds try and develop the same bike, what works for one won´t for the other. Anyway, I think Dani just answered a loaded question.

Everybody loves to hear "Dani this" , "Rossi that", "Max left" and "Stoner right"...

Everyone is waiting to jump on some "controversial" line which gets interpreted the worst way possible to give people a reason to get out of control...

Dani will probably read all this and remember to never ever answer questions about opinions on people anymore.

I love motogp it's an amazing series.
I have been following it since 1993 and all the riders that take part now in the past and future are all heros for doing so but with regards to posts about reasons how nicky only won the 2006 because rossi having a bad season is a little unfair.
He had the most points at the end of the season which ended up a real nailbiter in the last 2 rounds so he took the title.
It's just the way it goes and could happen to any rider.
Let's just enjoy the racing
