Wow thats really good, that interview is a perfect microcosm of what works, Take a team like Honda that beleive the engineers have the right answer before the rider, and have the rider evaluate/develope parts after the fact,
I've got a good feeling for Loris ths year. Rossi is going to have issue's with this. :)

I hope for Loris and Chris they do get the Suzuki up there with the Hondas and Ducati.
It also seems Loris has a new lease of life, maybe Ducati did him a favour !!!
Lets see tomorrow where they go on a really fast track .

I'll rather think Ducati made Loris "a favor", as Loris didn't
adapt to the 800cc Ducati. As Casey rode so well, there was actually
a good argument not to change this aspects of the bike, and Casey became
world champion! On the long term quite smart and brave of ducati to
relay on Casey. The issue though is that it seems that only
types like Casey like this bike! I guess there is something
about that "rogued" side of Casey that made Casey and the 800cc Ducati
go like Egg&Bacon.. :-) seems like many Australians likes the bike a bit "wild",
just look at Casey, Bayliss, Chris V. and McCoy! Is it the fine
Australian Shiraz wines or something wild from the northern
territories that makes that?

I think if Loris focus on circuits with double turns would give him a chances to grab some useful championship points.

Circuits like Jerez, Mugello, Le Mans, Assen, Brno, Misano, Motegi, Sepang, Philip Islands and Valencia would be suitable for his Suzuki. Probably Shanghai too could be his new favorite circuit where Suzuki can fly through turns smoothly.

With a number of strong riders increased, it may need double the effort to fight for a win. At the moment, his biggest rival is his team mate.

Loris is my favorite rider to watch win, when he's on gtfotw! He had problems adapting to the 800cc duc for sure but I really hope he goes well on the Suzuki and sneaks in a couple more GP wins to spite the factory ducs.
