I was talking about his comment on Hayden actually, and everyone else can have their own opinions on riders, but as soon as I lay one down someone gets crabby and deletes it. I'm just holding the guy accountable, if he doesn't watch it enough to know how many races Stoner won, then who is he to decide if Hayden was an "accidental" champ? Just my 2 cents.

Bob Kruse is right. Stoner never won anything before, h did well on 07, on a bike on which a half a ss e d capirossi won a race too, and with which although on a b spoec, Baroos hit the podium in mugello (after that Domenicali took off the support).
Nicky is a worthy champ, not a dominant oine, but he won on a 990cc, and in a year where his opponents weent as hanjdicapped by tyres and bikes as stoner s opponents in 08.

I totally agree with you chu chu,

Hayden capitalized on a season when other's were misfortuned by bikes and tires, and granted he didn't dominate, but hell what did Stoner do? I know he dominated this season, but how were the two seasons technically different? Rossi and Yamaha flopped both years, Michelin wasn't too hot in 06, and definitely in 07. Hayden triumphed over the same flaws the 07 season had, just not in such a dominant fashion. Hayden is a world champ, and not by accident, and the same holds true for Stoner.

Cheers Morgue,
I would like to say that that should be a good test for judging who's where but last years test proved to be a little off.

i would say that the only thing that did really come to light was stoners tyre testing in pre season which turned out to be a good pointer as to what was to come in last season.

The test will be seen as an important one especialy for Yamaha & I expect to see a closing of the gap between Rossi & stoner.

I'm not so concerned about Honda as I dont see anything to suggest as yet that they have a race tyre that is any where near as good as the bridgestone, especialy for durability in a race.

Yes indeed Hayden is I beleive a worty champion.

As you all know I'm a Rossi fan & Hayden beat him only just but hey Hayden had to ride the *** of that bike week in week out so don't let anyone take that away from him.

I for one never realy though that Hayden was world champoinship material but he has earned my full respect, & guy's don't write him off this year because he has grit & determinatin like no body else, last year was testement to that.

It's going to be an interesting year this year if Honda & Yamaha have those bikes sorted Stoner is gonna have his hands full, although I must admitt even at this early stage it's looking abit ominus for some as the ducati & stoner are looking gd
