Doesn't sound like something JB would say. Does anyone have a link to the interview where he made these comments - I mean 'Carlos from Angola' sounds a bit dodgy don't you think?

MOTOGP » Edwards, Stoner star at Phillip Island

Colin Edwards continued his impressive 2008 form during the first day of testing at Phillip Island on Wednesday, where the Yamaha Tech 3 rider used a qualifying tyre to lead Ducati's Casey Stoner by 0.6secs at the MotoGP world champion's home track.

quote "But Stoner''s 1min 30.178secs on race tyres is already 0.7secs faster than he''d recorded en route to victory in the 2007 Australian Grand Prixand"

Guys, check this out.
''My feeling with Casey is that he is pretty much the first of the robos. All his short laps on the bike are based on dialling in the electronics for every corner so that he give the bike full throttle and and the aids will do the rest. Somebody else is determining whether the tyre will do the distance, just give him the hardest one if he can live with it, that will be the tyre he'll use for the race. that's my feeling from the outside looking in''. By Geremy BURGESS.
Wow, what about this... and I thought Casey was realy THAT good.
there is more guys, whatch out for my comments, I'll be posting them here for every 1 to 2 c.

Just like at Donnington last year in the wet. Casey just opens the throttle and the TC takes control,no skill in that. Not once didthe Ducati get out of line. Amazing Electronics ,not amazing riding

Pagoda, the fact that Capirossi, Barros and Hoffman finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the world championship would appear to support your theory. Perhaps you have spent a little too long out in the sun.

The strange thing is that the electronics don't seem to be benefitting the other riders (Capirossi, Melandri have not performed on the Ducati as Casey has).

If Schumacher can get to within +6 secs of the others lap times on the bike, it just goes to show you how much of the work is being done by electronics now...for everyone. Please bring back manual motorcycles!
