Doesn't sound like something JB would say. Does anyone have a link to the interview where he made these comments - I mean 'Carlos from Angola' sounds a bit dodgy don't you think?

MOTOGP » Edwards, Stoner star at Phillip Island

Colin Edwards continued his impressive 2008 form during the first day of testing at Phillip Island on Wednesday, where the Yamaha Tech 3 rider used a qualifying tyre to lead Ducati's Casey Stoner by 0.6secs at the MotoGP world champion's home track.

The other ducati riders may not performed as well as Casey on the same bike simply because they are not going to blindly trust the aids to do their jobs. Since they don't trust it as much as Casey might they have dialed the aid down some and are trying to ride the bike with more manual control.

(a diff Matt than the previous one earlier in the thread).

''... BARROS made the mistake of beating Casey Stoner on the six round of the grand prix at Mungello and after that his package mysteriously never seemed as strong''. by Randy MAMOLA.

So don't come here say, WHY Barros, WHY Capirossi, and Ofman didn't perform... enough of this WHY, WHY, WHY, don't just judge from wht you are fed on the tv sets... understand first.

Ofcourse I didn't Royston, but I did ride the horrible Kawasaki 500 Mach 3 twostrole triple,
great in a straight line but enough to make you wet your pants in the curves :p
Anyway Barros could handle the beasts quite well, also in the rain

Carlos - Read the article on MCN website. No reference to JB saying anything at all like what you have claimed. As for the why Barros, Capirossi...nobody needs to say anything, the results speak for themselves!
How would Randy Mamola know - does he work for D'antin? More likely speculating just like the rest of us!

A single wet session is all they need for Ducati new riders to change their mindset on riding the European bike. The bike can't ridden cautiously like the Japanese bikes. Its need push and aggressive maneuver like traditional European bikes. So they need to forget all they've know on riding Japanese bike.

Logically, if JT and West given a Ducati MotoGP ride, they should be far better than the current results.

Probably, the Ducati successful history should be reviewed and riders that bring Ducati name to the top should be looked closely what kind of rider they're made of.

Barros, 7 wins in 17 seasons thats some going there Morgue and one of those seasons was on a full factory RCV. Stoner, Rossi, Doohan all won 10 races in one season, kinda puts it into perspective what a great rider is!

Hope your wrong there zydon, because using the same logic of your argument then Capirossi is going to be in big trouble on that Suzuki.
