Mark Burbridge - "casey will revert back to his old ways of buckling under pressure and falling off!"
Did you watch any of the MotoGP races last year? I seem to remember that Casey was very good under pressure and didn't fall off...at all. And won lots.

It seems that a few pre season "tests" have already decided the championship for this year, judging by the daily comments. But then again it seems most of the posts are coming from that sun-burnt, beer-bellied island down under! I wonder how many of you were in the Casey Stoned fan club in 2006? All jumped on the bandwagon when he started winning last year I bet. The test times mean NOTHING, the March 9th race times are when the debate should begin!!

I think you will find most of us have been behind Casey since he won his first 125 championship in Britain in his first competition year. As we are with every Australian who competes on an International level.
As for test times.....I guess they meant nothing last year as well ;)

How does Rossi not being there have anything to do with it? Last I checked he spent most of last season at the same places Casey was at and was usually behind him. Remember Qatar, or how about Catalunya? Rossi was all over his rear wheel and he didn't crack.

I thought Casey came second in the 125 British Championship. Correct me I'm wrong, please. Although he would obviously have won (if he didn't) because of the few rounds he competed in he cleared off. His closest rival was Leon Camier (he is going well now also).

Why do people suggest that Casey Stoner fans came out in 2007 only? If anyones fans should have the finger pointed at them for being fans of a rider and not the sport it is Rossi Fans. The reason many Stoner fans did not go on forums is because every forum is dominated by Rossi Groupies who can not understand that someone else might have potential, skill, talent or even FANS!

Maybe Yamaha are not at the test because they have to protect Rossi's fragile confidence. After all by the end of 2007 he had none and now that he is off those terrible Michelins that ruined his career he is beginning to get some back.

Well said PP

This one is for you 990......We all would have been happy sitting back in our nice sun burnt country and sitting on our nice clean beaches, watching our boy do well......except you Rossi groupies ( I like Rossi ) decided to declare war on him and nail him to the cross, so much so they even had to strip the Duke down to see if they were cheating.....Funny how this never happened to Rossi when he won by a big margin !!
This sport has always been the best rider, best bike , best tyres and the best team has nearly always won......once you get a grip on this fact you can let go of the grip on yourself ;)

Declare war on Stoner ah yes....the sad groupie tactic at work still, easy to tell these multipal user name and unregistered types from any true enthusiast. There in lies the only tactic? available thats left to the meek of mind... And try as they might our young rising star Casey will only get stronger with every poison word thats typed, all adding fuel to fire within. GO CASEY

Yes some Stoner fans are actually newer than others to great sport that is Moto GP, so the ferk what????
- And these comments coming Iam quitely confident from clown groupies that were still likely playing with their bratz dolls until at least 2000! :)
