Casey is a great rider and fair play to him, he has an awesome machine with the best TC set up bar none (Ducati only team with no fish-tailing exiting corners apparently). BUT...unless Rossi & Lorenzo with the works Yamaha M1 have a secret weapon with their engine - we''re all screwed. Pedrosa won''t beat Hayden in my view. Hayden is on it 110% and will use this time to develop the bike his way. So it''s up to Hayden, Rossi and new boy Lorenzo to claw back up to the TC genius that are Ducati and Casey.

I for one don''t want to watch a machine that dominates the competition a second a lap faster than anyone else?

Shades of Ferrari in F1. Wonderful for Ferrari fans but boring for others.

Not only is Stoner way out in front, but look where the next Bridgestone rider is ... & then look where the next Ducati is ...
Looking at the weeks test results excluding Stoner, one cud assume that a Honda on Michelins is the equipment to have ... Stoner must just hav summing that gels really well between him the Duc & the Bridgestones!

If the TC doesn't engage the power output limitation mapping done by the ducati engineers is perfect.

That doesn't mean you need throttle control as a rider. It will just give the amount of engine torque depending on the required wheel torque that the conditions can handle to avoid wheelie or excessive wheel spin even with the handle at "full power".

TC is just a back-up. Bin TC

Don't assume to much... ;)

In Biaggi's last MGP year, there no JT. No point comparing those Biaggi's performance. But Biaggi in WSBK was a big threat to top 3 WSBK championship leaders. So, if JT used to with that kind of pressure, it's a normal for him then in MotoGP for rider such as Pedrosa provided he continuously improves at this rate.

Yesterday JT said he will be working on electronics for today test. Next, you know he was 3rd fastest rider in the test. I don't see the electronics parts only for 250cc riders or hard to deal with.

From the test result, there ex-250cc, ex-wsbk and senior rider was faster except the rest of Ducati riders. So much for advance TC on Ducati.

Someone must be lying about the TC...

JT in the other hand, if he keep his momentum like this, he would be one of the front runner very soon. The way he beats Biaggi in WSBK, I'm not suprise when he does beat Pedrosa regularly.

2 people really impressed me at this test (from what I've read, I've not seen any footage) Casey Stoner and James Toseland. Stoner's time is just simply stunning, you have to say that. 1 second faster than 2nd is a tremendous gap, regardless of TC or any other nonsense, you have to twist that throttle hard and ride it and he is.
James Toseland continues to impress me with his steady progress on the Yamaha, I always
wished he would go there and impress but you have this doubt at the back of your mind.
Well, I think he's proving himself to be an excellent choice for MotoGP!

Go JT! :)

Ram, cos the rookies are coming from harder bikes to ride - 250cc ... trickier on the setup as well .. at least that may be part of it.

Anyway, this is testing ... Dani was much faster than Nicky until he crashed ... so i think he d be faster than Nicky too in PI ... Anyway Hionda need to get their sh1t together

JT is Steady in the rain. Certainly not a genius. In WSBK he fell at silverstone, in the rain, remounted and finished 8th with coolant spewing all over the place.
