Casey is a great rider and fair play to him, he has an awesome machine with the best TC set up bar none (Ducati only team with no fish-tailing exiting corners apparently). BUT...unless Rossi & Lorenzo with the works Yamaha M1 have a secret weapon with their engine - we''re all screwed. Pedrosa won''t beat Hayden in my view. Hayden is on it 110% and will use this time to develop the bike his way. So it''s up to Hayden, Rossi and new boy Lorenzo to claw back up to the TC genius that are Ducati and Casey.

I for one don''t want to watch a machine that dominates the competition a second a lap faster than anyone else?

Shades of Ferrari in F1. Wonderful for Ferrari fans but boring for others.

In Biaggi's last MGP year, there no JT. No point comparing those Biaggi's performance. But Biaggi in WSBK was a big threat to top 3 WSBK championship leaders. So, if JT used to with that kind of pressure, it's a normal for him then in MotoGP for rider such as Pedrosa provided he continuously improves at this rate.

If the TC doesn't engage the power output limitation mapping done by the ducati engineers is perfect.

That doesn't mean you need throttle control as a rider. It will just give the amount of engine torque depending on the required wheel torque that the conditions can handle to avoid wheelie or excessive wheel spin even with the handle at "full power".

TC is just a back-up. Bin TC

Don't assume to much... ;)

Not only is Stoner way out in front, but look where the next Bridgestone rider is ... & then look where the next Ducati is ...
Looking at the weeks test results excluding Stoner, one cud assume that a Honda on Michelins is the equipment to have ... Stoner must just hav summing that gels really well between him the Duc & the Bridgestones!

Sorry I didn't realise that TC not kicking in couldn't possibly have anything to do with Stoners talent. It is the talent of the engineers. I understand now.

Jeez you guys will come up with anything to deny Stoner one ounce of credit.

Shouldn't be the same engineer which is designed/programmed the same TC for all Ducati's TC? Why shouldn't they get the same result and all Ducatis over the top of the chart?

If you mean the crew, then it's correct though. Stoner crew were the best among all in MotoGP beating Rossi+JB crews which is known as the best in the past.

It's need a brilliant rider to trick those TC limitations and it's no different for riders in past where they were smart enough to handle the wild beast and running away from the others.

Whats happened to all the tyre talk? 4 of the top 5 on Michies and 7 of the bottom 8 on Stones. Looks like Bridgestone are back to old habits and Mich riders will dominate. Pity that one or 2 riders will have an easy get out for the poor performance.

It's a bit too early to crown Stoner WC. Ducati has done a marvelous job giving Stoner a great bike but these are early stages and this is a track he's very familiar with. What's more encouraging is seeing that other guys getting closer to the top especially the new guys. If Honda and Yamaha can provide the additional power and tire management capability to it's riders then well have a great show to watch during the season. If not, there is always WSB to watch.
