i laugh every time someone mention banning electronics in motorsport.

firstly, electronics are there for all the rides; melandri is on the same bike and is struggling (which to be completely honest has really surprised me). the playing field is level.

secondly, it's like the argument in F1 where people argue that in the 60-70's where we had 4 wheel drift, powerslides etc that the racing was more exciting, and that electronics are to blame. technology moves forward and Dorna/F1 would be sticking their heads in the sand if they didn't embrace these new technologies.

the bottom line is: anything that makes lap times lower is progress. the best riders/drivers will always rise to the top.

Id like to argue with gina, although I cant find anything worthwhile to argue with in her uneducated monotonus repetitive robotlike drivel. The scratched ostrich record strikes again.....

If Rossi's nickname is "The Doctor" surely Stoner's would be "The Surgeon" as he operates with clinical precision on the task at hand,be it testing or racing. As with most surgeons bedside manner can be an area of concern. Look at Stoner and a one M Schumacher and tell me that Stoner is not a younger version of MS.

Of course the Rossi vs.Stoner nonsence again... THE excuse for the CS-clan. :rolleyes:

As far as qualifying goes. Where was Stoner on the grid last year at PI???
1st? No,
2nd? No,
3rd I believe he was... ;)

Now with Dani(1stPI07) and Vale(2ndPI07) NOT present(PI08), it was the Stoner-show.
He did a good job, nobody will argue that, even the ,objective, Dani or Vale-fans will agree.

In Sepang we'll see only another part of the puzzle. So wait until Jerez and see what will happen.

But even Qatar could be tricky, as it will run in very special conditions which may favor some outsiders ?

Only after Qatar, under "normal" conditions we'll see where everyone stands... ;)
