Ace27 - it's not like PI is the only circuit on the calendar that he's been to before... Think Valencia, Donington, Laguna Seca, Misano, Qatar, Assen and Brno (He's won SBK races at most of them too!). Plus he'll have done a fair bit of testing at Sepang and Jerez.

I'll admit he's got tracks to learn and still has lots to learn about the bike.

Don't be fooled by the easygoing outward personality you see in the paddock. He's a real hard fighter once he gets the leathers on..

Go James!!

WEST looked awkard although trying very hard bike screaming getting no where seemed like no base set up rider looked very tired on day 3
ELIAS went good for an injuried rider seemed kinda getting the grip of the beast could be a big improver when fit could suit the Ducati
NAKANO tried hard looked OK could improve throughout the season
HAYDEN all over the track must have tried every set up, he could have went quicker but the bike was a problem you could see his frustration poor begger
STONER seemed to have some in reserve see other reports

The above reports are as objective as I can be of course I wasn't on every corner of every lap for every rider, I will answer questions but nothing biased of any rider and please don't start so and so would have done this and that if he was there.
If I were an bike owner I did like Toseland's atitude he did nothing stupid, he may not win anything this year but if he can come to grips with tracks the other riders will know he in the field,I knew very little about him before last week.

Saltbush,

Great to see a decent honest report from someone who was at the track & not just looking at the lap times. Very pleased for JT as he will have got the attention of the rest of the paddock. I know it is only testing but if he was 15th everybody would be slating him. Hope Yamaha give him the support throughout the full ye****

Thanks Saltbrush. A different angle on the events and your comment pretty much back up the times. I still think Stoner can't ride (that was a joke, just a joke!!!) :)

Thanks Saltbush intresting report if I have to ride 700 miles I am somewhere in Spain, I will never complain again about the 230 km (+/- 140 miles) to Assen.
It's obvious that J.T. can ride therefore I also expect a lot of British Lads again at Assen, wich is always a big party...
