Why do the factories spend millions of dollars on R&D when they could employ Ace, the man with the solution to every technical problem. The other day he was telling Suzuki how to improve the handling of Vermuelens bike and now he's pointing Kawasaki in the right direction. Hey what do these Japanese engineers know - they've only been building race bikes 50 years so they haven't yet built up the same level of technical expertise and experience as Ace. Time to step into the motogp paddock Ace and claim your rightfull position as the new technical guru...Jerry Burgess watch out!! ;)

If you have followed Ants career you might know all the dirt track champs he has won in Aus ( maybe thats why he fangs all in the wet?) and road champs. Packs his bags and walks the pits in europe trying to get a ride.He gets a few privateer rides in 250s consistantly beating factory bikes, was ripped off in contracts promised factory bikes year after year all to be continually ripped. Then he rode a twin 500 and regularly beat home factory fours. KTM promised the world and gave ****. After all this he has ten dollars in his pocket lucky for Ant he gets a one off supersport ride for Yam wins, two more rides a 3rd and win. He will kick butt this year.He has had crap to long. GREEN MEAN ANT

It was pretty obvious there was issue with that bike, as some of us kept saying.
Lets hope he can solve the other issues and win a race.

Westy is a waste of a ride in motogp(he has already proved it) he's a tourist at best, still gotta love your enthusiasm.... The boy wants to go back to WSS and try for some glory stead of trundling about at the back, is he really as disallusioned as his fans? me thinks not...The boy is the king of excuses... Analysis complete..

peo peo i don't think slaggind riders the way you did is nice, but i do agree with you in that Ant west won't ever be a top motogp rider.
he is a good wet rider but how many wet races do we have a year, and in those he will fight to fight for the podium?? he is a very good rider but not a great rider.
even troy bayliss one of the greatest WBK riders ever came to motogp did his best had a shine or two but was never a championship Challenger went back to SBK and took the championship, hope he will repeat it in his last year. i think that if Ant wants to be at the top he needs to be in WSS or WSB.
just my opinion!!!

Westy and that bike are just not getting along, they can't seem to get a base setting to start from, whether it's lack of good input from Westy or too many parts to test as Hoppa hasn't been much help for very good reason only time will tell, and there isn't much time left before the true test starts,,,,,RACING.One way or another this could the year of decision for both West and Kawasaki,I don't think Kawasaki will stay in MotoGp just to make up the field,, midfield results or worse doesn't make a buyer rush to the Kawasaki Showroom and thats what it's all about,if Westy realises he's not going to hack it in MotoGp he should get over it and make a good living in WSS orWSB???

That is the pot calling the kettle black as we say...It's never stopped you Aussies slagging off Rossi....
Does anybody know if he ever finished a wet race in MotoGP. I'm not calling his personality(I don't know the bloke), just merely pointing out the obvious which is he's as much right to be in the championship as Kurtis Roberts.... I think his mums head of HR at Kasawaki...or something..
