Why do the factories spend millions of dollars on R&D when they could employ Ace, the man with the solution to every technical problem. The other day he was telling Suzuki how to improve the handling of Vermuelens bike and now he's pointing Kawasaki in the right direction. Hey what do these Japanese engineers know - they've only been building race bikes 50 years so they haven't yet built up the same level of technical expertise and experience as Ace. Time to step into the motogp paddock Ace and claim your rightfull position as the new technical guru...Jerry Burgess watch out!! ;)

Did you actually see him fall Saltbush? It must have been quite hard and tossing him on his side too (apart from the groin bit...)
when you look at his injuries. No laughing about that

The Morgue;no didn't see Hoppa's fall but was told about it by a reliable source he is very lucky to be still with us as it flung him like a cataplut onto the ground and there was no warning from the bike, this is what I was told, actually I am glad I didn't see it as I usually feel quite sick when I see a rider fall whether it looks gentle or not

Of course the Aussies are WAY better on two wheels..... dont believe me? Are you any good at math, then consider the country population size V per capita and consider overall premier class race winners/champs in Moto GP/SBK/AMA from Australia then look at the facts again. Its not rocket science.

Reality is based in the real world by the way sorry to burst any bubbles---- NOT ;)

And the simpltons still reckon its the colour of the bike that makes the difference! will they never learn....Hey I reckon Mick could easy of been still won MANY more GP's and championships too for HRC if but not for his health problems (remember Alex just retired) :?

Now lets put Westy on Nicky's bike and let cards fall where they may..... ;)

No worries there.....he only lost the first title by 1 point and the next year he had to regain fitness......7 titles I reckon ;) Better than Rossi.....he would have to be he's a Aussie ;)

Would be great to see Westy on a Honda....Honda would start winning again :)

I have been watching and following Westy for a long time now and although he is not the most charismatic guy out there.....he is a good rider. Given that sort of a chance would be good for him and I am sure he would get to show how well he can really ride......lets hope he has a good year !!!!!!!

Although the race result did not come on the day, consider Donnington last year (07) and how Ant showed great signs of his ability in that wet race!!! that alone speaks volumes for his overall potential in my opinion given a fair ride and a some time to adapt to team/bike/politics etc. ANYONE who rides well in such wet conditions is a good strong bet!
If Iam not mistaken Westy still has less time in Moto GP than any other rider from the 07 season. We have to compare his times with Hoppas 1st really to be sure the Kwaka is trully dialled in for 08 but 'If' he and Kawasaki do not improve a fair shake by the end of the Jerez tests I would be pretty surprised.

Yeah Donnington and also Sepang if he had not jumped the start , he was gone!!!!
I think after seeing Hoppa get thrown down the road I am sure he will be taking it a bit easier.......no good going into the season carrying a injury.
Is Hoppa back for Jerez ????
