Nicky Hayden:

"This engine spec is the spec Dani chose to go with for the valve-spring. It's smooth and easy to ride, but its overall performance isn't real high."

-----------

So Pedrosa chose the engine - yet now he can't test it due to injury - leaving Hayden to develop a bike with an engine not suited to him.

How about they let Nicky Hayden use the engine HE WANTS.

MOTOGP » Honda's engine dilemma continues…

"Before I would have said 'yeah sure, we'll race the pneumatic-valve', but now maybe we're going to be on valve-springs" - Nicky Hayden.

Call you agent Nicky and get a new Job ASAP before you end up 10+ in the standings due to HRC not helping you at all and you end up with no ride in 2009.

Welcome to Honda, thats the way things go, hence Rossi leaving.

Funny how a world champion doesnt get the treatment he deserves and the bike he wants.

What else can you do though, he's best off leaving.

Nicky just needs to get this year over with, do his best and join Ben Spies at suzuki next year. Because its OBVIOUS that Honda does not have his back at all, and he has gotten ZERO respect for bringing them a title.

His time with Honda is up, he needs to go to a team that will appreciate him, not treat him like a second class citizen to an angry smurf.

Nicky should have left two years ago when all of the other Factories were trying to sign. Altough, he does not get a lot of love from most of the bloggers here on Crash.net....I think its an American thing....., Nicky is a good rider and probably would have been treated like a real Number One at any other team other than Yamaha. It will be interest to see when HRC - Nicky part ways real soon where he will end up going and whether he will a support rider or the number rider.

When rossi left Honda for Yamaha there was a vacancy in Honda. Lets say honda was just very desperate and they wouldn't give Max a bike because he will low side the bike on the first corner of every race and along came Nicky Hayden just minding his own business and they asked him would you like to ride. And Nicky Hayden said " I wanna ride, I wanna ride". So thats how they fell in love. and now like all relationship they are getting a divorce.

building a pneumatic engine for him isn't giving him repsect? it said the springer is Danis, so that mean the air-valver is his. just because its not ready yet, doesn't mean they aren't supporting him.

HRC lab have a month to squeeze more power out of it if they want to start the season. Thye are going full on to give him the engine he needs. The spring valver is a lame duck and isn't even meant to be in this chassis. And you guys say that NH is getting screwed. :?

Oh man.. how embarrassing is that going to be if the Repsol team gets passed on the straight again at Qatar? From what Nicky says, it sounds like even the satellite teams' engine is more powerful. So instead of just getting passed by the Duc's, they could be passed by pretty much anyone.
