Nicky Hayden:

"This engine spec is the spec Dani chose to go with for the valve-spring. It's smooth and easy to ride, but its overall performance isn't real high."

-----------

So Pedrosa chose the engine - yet now he can't test it due to injury - leaving Hayden to develop a bike with an engine not suited to him.

How about they let Nicky Hayden use the engine HE WANTS.

MOTOGP » Honda's engine dilemma continues…

"Before I would have said 'yeah sure, we'll race the pneumatic-valve', but now maybe we're going to be on valve-springs" - Nicky Hayden.

Incredible!!!!

I just read that Honda want the enginespeed limited to 19000 rpm simply because they are incapable to construct an engine that can beat the Ducati. How far will they go to win back THEIR crown.

HRC-Honda: Win back the crown a few times and right after you have done so, propose changes that hurt yourself, NOT after you noticed that you're unable to beat the currently best package from the SMALLEST manufacurer in a fair way...

HONDA HAS NO HONOUR!!!!!!!!!!!

It's almost unbelievable that Honda could suggest this, makes you think they're maybe struggling with the engine even more than it looked...To try and change the rules to become competitive is wrong... Looks like everyone could be riding desmo based machines....having said that if only one type of engine configuration works competitively at 800cc, it doesn't hold much hope for the future from a technical standpoint..

Yawn...... And so the whinging/bleating/blaming continues, Same old news.... first tyres then ECU's and traction control now rev limiters. How about getting some more "REAL" riders that can ride in the wet and deal with on track competitive pressure, and just dump the corporate politics and single minded sponsers! and so it goes on- Keep sheepishly blaming everything else for there own bloody minded greed and chase for the almighty ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** :rol
