2007 was a rookie year for everyone tho, it was a fresh start.

new bikes and no data for any races, apart from the tracks they tested at.

like i've said before, when stoner went to ducati and bridgestone, something clicked and it clicked big time, anyone can see stoner has talent...all i want is to see all the bikes and tyres level on performance so that there is no more petty arguments on who is the best rider.

I think stoner's great..but he's no rossi, as much as people will argue it, he's no rossi...not yet.

Er ok history 101... Doohan any wet race! Gardner Japan 89' and no TC,
Iam guessing then rossi had to thank his TC for demolishing those 4 sec in 07 nothing to do with skill....?

So what happened to rossi at Donington in 07 then, did his TC short out?....
Westy and Chris too were interesting to watch eh! ;)

West dropped it in the mud and came in 11th :p maybe in the haze he could see Rossi going to fourth on the wrong compound raintyre, maybe he was too ashamed to have lost such a great opportunity in front of his new Kawasaki team.

Go watch Doningto '05, held in conditions far worse and much colder (the rest of the program was scrapped)
and get a new brain.

So I remember Rossi going inside Westy shoving him wide and off track, Post race interview West claimed the same thing, we saw it and he said it, another one of Rossi's dangerous moves. Only Westy was man enough not to cry to race officials and nevery winged to Carmelo Ezpeleta like Rossi does whenever the Hitman passes him.
Selective memory bro ;).

Rubbish, he's as clean as any rider (my other post's gone).
I can understand Australians are sour because the rainmaster dropped it in the mud and had too pick it up
but don't blame it on another. Still... nice try ;-)

In the Donington 2005 race, King Rossi almost lost his bike several times but, he continued on. The race conditions were HORRIBLE. Gibernau, Biaggi, Xaus etc wrecked their bikes but, Rossi didn't. He basically had the throttle WIDE OPEN towards the end of the race. He continued to prove that he was the master at his trade until the checkered flag came down in that race. He was light years ahead of second place by the time the race was over. He came there to race that day and that's EXACTLY what he did. Rain or shine as long as Rossi is racing, he's gonna give 100%! So, if someone thinks they can get away early in a race and squash Rossi's hopes of winning, think again! Long live the king!

Yes I find it very sad as well, despite the poor results last year, they always where able to snatch some podiums almost every season.. (It was nice to see my name on the bike as well).. I wish them all the best and hope they will enter soon again maybe with some decent Italien stuff)

when Kenny senior made Kr racing into a family affair i think the team lost something...
yes his son Kenny is a good rider but Curtis???? come-on...
team Kr needed someone a bit more experienced maybe even one of the ilmor gang.
i wish them all the best.my name was on the bike as well, that was cool.
i just think that to develop a bike you need a much more experienced rider.

:) I too had my name on the bike. I think he gave Kurtis the ride probably because he was real cheap (family discount, anyone?), and he knew his 800's wouldn't be competitive. No one seems to want to extend their hand to KR, or maybe they don't have the budget (or the capability, in Ducati's case) to lease out 2-4 more bikes this year. Maybe, if any factory is particularly sucessful, KR could take the leftovers for '09?
