Got strong believe in Valentino my self and yes don't like it when he gets bet ,its obvious he and yamaha have come on in this latest test but made no bones about Stoner hes on a high and flying .Do say myself that the tyres were a major key to Valentino losing the championship and yamaha for him losing 2nd place .Think this is all behind him now and can attack the championship this year.

Whats the reckning that Rossi backed off on purpose so his simultion time could'nt be posted ??

Slowjoe, yes Rossi is not quiet on Casey's pace yet, but only 0.400 off wasn't he, correct me if I'm wrong anyone as i may have overlooked testing times.

Morgue, me & you both know that the Rossi haters must be cringing because the last thing they want to do is eat their words.

I'm sure were seeing slow but steady progress being made by Mr rossi, now someone said in a earlier post if Rossi is the Doctor stoner is the Surgeon, I have upmost respect for Casey & he's been good but soon going to be doctored.

Hi Nigel..I made the comment about Stoner and the surgeon(brilliant,clinical but lacking in bedside manor). Rossi is different and maybe "the doctor" is not the best description. To me Rossi is an entertainer with no match in motor sport. The only problem is that he did not get to demonstrate his post race entertainment too much last year. He lost a lot races last year in that first lap or two. The B/S tyres may help here but his launch control last year was also lacking. I believe that racing at the front this year will be very close but with possibly less passing than you would expect. First lap performance and fuel economy will play a big role in who wins this year. Roll on 2008..
