We can argue Rossi better than Stoner and vice versa till we are all blue in the face but until they are given identical machinery, data, mechanics etc for a whole season we are never going to know the answer, so why don't we all call it quits, its kin pathetic

It is interesting to see that Jorge is having similar problems that Rossi was complaing about last year. I wonder if Michelin have erased all the issues from 2007.

Pity Lorenzo had to break off his race simulation, it would have been nice as reference.

Yea that would have been a good reference altough I don't think that Lorenzo is at the same level as Rossi..

JH, I think you are on to something here. Michlins whole tactic of tire development was geared towards producing special tires to perform in a very narrow envelop. (using information from FP to make special race tires for that weekend) Now with the new rules, they are forced into a new strategie, which they have little experience in. It will take a little longer than 1 season to come to grips with that.
I think Rossi knew that, thats way he changed....

Yes.
The biggest problem with the Michelins was they couldn't deliver constant quality.
The Laguna Seca race (according to Burgess) was the breaking point in their 'relationship'

Hayden lost in translation with the Japanese
and the French je ne sais pas quoi with Michelin.
Pedrosa has many more things to worry about than his hand...
