I never thought I'd say this about a top Japanese bike racing boss, but I quite like this Furusawa. He comes across quite well, bit of a sense of humour and isn't shy with the technical info. Also, when was the last time a HRC official (for exmaple) said he had respect for a rider's style and wouldn't ask him to change it to suit the bike unless he had to? (As Furusawa said about Lorenzo).

be interesting to see if the other teams have found more or less than the 5 extra horsepower yamaha will have this weekend at Jerez. Guess we'll be able to tell by seeing if the top speed order (factory bikes) is still roughly: 1) Ducati 2) Honda/Kawasaki(?) 3) Suzuki/Yamaha.

MOTOGP » Yamaha: Five more 'ponies'...

"We have added five 'ponies' compared to last year's engine, but we will need another three or four by the first race" - Masao Furusawa.

Ace27 have you got a satelite disc or cable, I have satelite disc so I am not sure if this works on cable. I used to have a pirate card and could get 297 channels from all over the world this was great for about 12 months then they kept altering the frequency so I had to keep buying another card, I know you are an honest person and you wouldn't dare go to a pub and ask if anybody is selling these pirate cards and making sure that you get all the intructions on how to dial it in,when I had it I could watch anything from any country, but then I was only relieving Murdock of money I kinda felt like Robin Hood

Dish, I had the card with the chips on it, so it worked all the time until they changed to digital or whatever they did.
Um I dont need to go to a pub, Where i work.........lets say that acquiring the new stuff is a conversation away...although the price has gone up for the new stuff.

I think I saved about 2k with the "card".....

The Australian GP at Phillip Island in 2003 is considered to be one of Rossi's greatest career moments due to the unique circumstances in which he claimed victory. After being given a 10-second penalty for overtaking during a yellow flag due to a crash by Ducati rider Troy Bayliss, 1st-place Rossi proceeded to pull away from the rest of the field, eventually finishing more than 15 seconds ahead; more than enough to cancel out the penalty and win the race.

Daymmmmmm how did he do that ??? :D :-o

Well Tanio, it's because He's the greatest! Your post was "Another" little bit of proof that this is true. He's done sooooo much for MotoGP. It's amazing just watching the guy race. EVERY year he gives us all memorable moments to look back on. It sucks to see soooo many people wanting him to fail. I'd bet there are people who probably pray for some kind of savior to come beat him and make him leave but, those prayers haven't been answered because he's still here. Waiting.. and waiting.. Planning for victory. My prediction for 2008 is Stoner will be gray-headed by the end of the season, from all of the stress Rossi will be putting on him. Many have fell under Rossi's pressure.

Duke;if you want a good Speedway site Google 'vintage speedway Darby', this site is linked to Speedway sites all over the world, it has much old time Speedway, Midget Speedcars,Stockcars, Solo's, Speedway Sidecars, if the Euro's find it they will think Aussie's are madder than they thought we are once they see the Sidecar boys. At practice day many years ago I did 5 laps in the chair at the Sydney Showground, spectators say they could hear my pitiful cries over the straight through exhaust of a HRD, to be quite honest my bowels are still not over it. Put a couple of days aside after you find it.

lol.....I bet  Ok I will have a look at the site. I used to go to the speedway so much when I was young, I even used to be part of the skid kids  Then I got into motorcross and that was it.....raced a RD 350 for awhile around Wanaroo and also did a street race up at Geraldton.....but MC was my favourite.
Hey if the Euros dont think we are mad already then I think they are a bit slow ;)
