If Laguna seca's safe enough for Motogp then so is Brands Hatch, If it moves anywhere it should go there, When will these people learn bikes don't work around silverstone, I can't remember a decent bike race around there in recent years, WSB was miles better at Donington in my opinion. This is probably a greed thing, Silverstone can pack more spectators in and has that multi million pound BRDC building for the Dorna mob to get drunk in while the rest of the fans are stuck outside with a **** view of the racing or what passes for racing at Silverstone, I doubt Donington could survive without the GP. This is bad as premier league games abroad as far as i'm concerned.

Here's a thought, If Spain has three races, Italy and America have two, Why not have a Donington and a Silverstone? They won't of course, To scared of a big crowd at Donington and a big middle finger to Silverstone. Dorna can go to hell.

it should go to Brands Hatch. it is one of the most famous circuits in the world. they can't have it there at the moment because there isn't enough run off space and also i think because there is no grandstand at the back of the circuit. but ever since jonathan palmer's been there he has improved facilities.
i've never been to silverstone so i can't give my views on the watching ability of the spectators, but i have been to Donington, and i didn't like it very much compared to brands.

i think they should let the riders decide anyway, and listen to the fans aswell.

I think this is a case of money talking and not the people that actually make the racing — The riders and the spectators.
Dorna should be pressing Donington to make the necessary upgrades the same way Bernie Ecelstone held Silverstone to ransome.

Silverstone is boring to be kind to it!!

Alternate it between Brands, Donnington, Cadwell and Oulton Park, never, never, never let it go back to that bloody featureless airfield.

And if you really want to sort the men out from the boys theres always that little 37 and bit mile track on the Isle of Man, John McGuinness for a wild card anybody ;)

While I was in the UK, I went to Donnington for the MotoGP, Brands Hatch for the WSBK and Silverstone for WTCC. I thought Silverstone was the worst track for spectators I had been to. I dont even know why F1 i spopular there either. Donnington and Brand Hatch are absolutely brilliant. If the MotoGP cant survive at Donnington, I hope it doesnt end up at Silverstone.

Sitting in the sun on the grass at Craner cannot be beaten. Please please leave it at Donington, the views and racing are spectacular and having recently been to Catalunya and stuck in a sweaty seat high and far removed from the racing I will always be returning to the Don Gp. If it had to go anywhere then yes Brands Hatch cannot be rivalled for similar racing and the enjoyment for the spectators. I would be willing to spend longer in the Q's getting in and out so as not to have to go and strain my neck watching a boring race at Silverstone.

At least Donnington is central(ish). Having to travel from up North is going to be a pain. Silverstone is boring and Brands too far South. For those who only get the weekend off and are stuck with 'factory holidays' it means a lot of travel in only 2 or 3 days. Keep it fair, think of the fans and not the pockets of those who own the circuits. Now that Moto GP is getting bigger and we have Toseland to cheer, it appears that the fat cats want 'some' at the expense of those who have followed it at Donnington for years. Keep it at Donnington and improve all the facilities there.

brands is the best track full stop. the problem with donny is that theres nothing to it spectator wise, unlike cadwell or oulton where you can walk around and find a good spot up close or a lot of the track. when i go there it just doesnt feel like a top sporting venue. and i dont understand how wsb went to laguna all those years with the walls so close and as soon as gp's go there theyre back 10 foot, but when yanagawa had that huge accident absolutely nothing was done. i hope they dont go to brands anyway because they'll probably want a chicane or something that would ruin it

Could you quantify the improvements to Brands since Palmer took over? Theres still no grandstand at Paddock (outside as they go down hill) Theres no Grandstands been built on the South Bank. Theres no commentary if you're out the back of the circuit. Ticket prices have increased year on year and it has taken me 2 hours! to leave in 06 after the final round of BSB. Thats because theres only 1 exit from the large car park and you rely on having the police stopping traffic every minute or so to let 5 cars out at a time. Where are the road improvements that Silverstone was eventually forced to have?

In fact all Ive noticed is the Corporate boxes are now clad in silver plastic!

where do you park because it's took 30-45 mins to get out the last two years for wsb. the main problems with grandstands is that 1.pay an extra £25 for what? 2.they're uncomfortable and dont let you stretch out and 3. your forced to sit down or you get abuse, as someone found out at imola '05. give me grass banking ay day
