If Laguna seca's safe enough for Motogp then so is Brands Hatch, If it moves anywhere it should go there, When will these people learn bikes don't work around silverstone, I can't remember a decent bike race around there in recent years, WSB was miles better at Donington in my opinion. This is probably a greed thing, Silverstone can pack more spectators in and has that multi million pound BRDC building for the Dorna mob to get drunk in while the rest of the fans are stuck outside with a **** view of the racing or what passes for racing at Silverstone, I doubt Donington could survive without the GP. This is bad as premier league games abroad as far as i'm concerned.

I'm a great MotoGP and travel to many GP's every year. But there is one circuit I will never return to. Donington Park. A complete toilet of a circuit. The racing is crap the weather is crap and the fans are crap. I feel much better now. I would be perfectly happy if they gave the British MotoGP to the Spanish, French or Italians.

this is the worst idea i have ever heard. if silverstone were to get motogp and F1 then other tracks like donnington and brands wont have the money to keep up with silverstone. besides that its such a boring track for spectators where as donnington has everything. even the riders think donnington is the best track in europe. If it aint broke dont fix it.

My only question is "WHY"??????
Donington is one of the best circuits I have ever been too for the bikes. I camped o/night there in 89' for the GP and had an awesome time. Eddie won the 500 race that Sunday.... great memories! also attended a Le Mans type sports car event there, simply fantasic memories and amazing atmosphere.

Someone should seriously be shot 'repeatable times' if they move the Brit GP from Doni

NO NO NO!!!!!! Please don''t ruin the British GP by moving it. The fans can''t see anything at Silverstone. Donny is so much better as a spectacle.

I have been going to donington park since 2001,love the circuit and is excellent for spectator viewing. In my opinion it should stay at Donington where you can see alot of track from just one spot, i dont see why going to a circuit with poor viewing would be better for moto gp in this country. A :)lso donington facilitys have got better year on year and so has traffic problems. the traffic problems are prob mainly due to 50k+ fans all leaving at once anyway. I just hope donington can keep the contract for some more years to come.

People don't like Silverstone and rightly so!

It was a disaster when F1 went from Brands to Silverstone in 87. They've had F1 for 2 decades and pocketed a fortune but the circuit facilities are as crap as they were in 1987 having visited this year for the 1st time in a while. Chicanes and dead stops everywhere with hopeless viewing.

Donington you can at least view well from the grass banks but facilties haven't changed since their re-opening in the 80's. Roads and traffic control is bad.

We need Jonathon Palmer owning Donington because he's the only current circuit owner who gives a toss about the sport & spectators, then it can stay, else move it to Brands but never Silverstone.
