Personally, I recon that Dovi will be one of the surprises of 2008.

Agreed!! And, Chu, I have enjoyed your recent post's, but I don't think Nicky had much say in the pneumatic, other than he REALLY wanted it. HRC, said it was not ready. I think (I may be wrong), that Nicky would rather have an engine with a lot of potential than a "limited" engine. If HRC was only using the "pneuma" engine, for the Repsol team, I would think that the developement would be much more rapid/efficiant. --Slideways151--

MOTOGP » Dovi: We can do even better next time

Former 250GP title rival Jorge Lorenzo may have just pipped Andrea Dovizioso to top rookie hours during the final day of the Jerez test, but the Italian was by far the happier rider.

Satellite Hondas are at their top now, as they are using the 2008 chassis and 2008 engine, more or less therefore the same package as the Repsols.

However, they won''t receive any evolutions from now on, whereas the HRC will provide upgrades to their riders all the time. Moreover, the other factories will keep on working too, and the overall level of performance will rise as always, when Melandri will feel his D16, when all 4 Yamahas will have air valves, when Suzuki will be back on track... (Kwacka are hopeless this year)

Therefore, Dovi, Puniet and the Gresinis shall make sure to score big points as early as possible, because things will become more and more difficult...

HRC does not use any 211 in the 800.
Satellite honda team will get parts after Dani has proven they work for him or decides they are good...Nicky will get the parts Dani thinks are rubish.

I don't think it was Nicky that chose, or else hey would've taken the pneumatic valve engine.
