The big issue for Rossi and JB is that in trying to get extra tyre life out of the B'stone it may adversely effect the current strengths of the M1.

It won't be a simple task, the Duke is a very different animal to the M1 and it has been developed with the B'stone tyre package. By the end of the season the M1 that Rossi rides and the one that JL rides may be very different bikes.

They need to forget what they've learned about the setup they used with the Michelins and start from scratch with any data gained on the B'stones during testing.

Who knows if they can pull it off but it'll be fun watching them try.

Rossi faught and lost. Stoner faught and won, congrats to him. But the ones saying that it's over for Rossi...I don't know where they get this from or where they base these sayings on. It's only the first race of the season and still 17 to go so ANYTHING can still happen. In the beginning of the race I think he could follow good at the front. What happened then, I don't know...
They have three weeks now to do some more testing and the can use it ver well I tink.
We'll see what the season brings.

MacDonalds are planning a mobile fast food restaurant at all next years events. So far they have recruited Hayden on burgers, Malandri on fries, Rossi on salad and drinks. However concerns are already being raised about the speed of service! When also asked about Ant West, a spokesman for MacDonalds replied that there are some useless ******** that even they won't touch with a barge pole... ;)

you people that call rossi a has been do make me laugh. Rossi was beaten all ends up last year, but look at this way, every teams rider selection always takes place "after" rossi selects who he will race for the following season. And i for one believe that the teams know an awful lot more about racing than you or i. Rossi develops rcv, it becomes the best bike out there. ie: about 6 of the top 10 are hondas while he is with honda. rossi moves to yamaha, you know, it was, at the time the worst bike out there. and what happens on sunday, 3 of the top seven where yams!
however the handling characteristics of the yam are very different to that of the duke, so it munches tyres. 6th was heroic!!!

Right on onthefence! All people saying Rossi isn't good enough or people talk about tires that don't work on the Yamaha or whatever, should maybe go to Yamaha in the next GP and give them their good advice. Maybe THEN Yamaha would be a good Team and Rossi the best rider...

Vale will strike back!
Go Vale!!!!!!

Rob Wilson; Snotnose is a nasal discharge,it can be caused by a head cold, infected sinuses, allergies, swimming,do you think Dani had a nasal discharge as well as an injuried hand, this was probably caused by the desert air if you are not used to it, it could cause an allergy,it must have been very uncomfortable riding with a full face helmet,to finish third with all the malades that he had is an excellent result. Jerez should be different his hand should healed and he shouldn't have an allergy at Jerez he is used to the climate there.I hope this helps your questions.

If you can see the interview with Rossi on the MotoGP site then you will see and hear that he doesn't blame Bridgestone or Yamaha at all, in fact he says that it all works great but the puzzle pieces must be placed on the right spots to win.
He just needs some more time to understand the tires.

Great victory for Casey but Lorenzo has really blown me away in a positive way. Great rider!
