MOTOGP » Hayden: We got beat bad

While Repsol Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa took the '08 RC212V to a strong podium finish at Qatar on Sunday, team-mate Nicky Hayden suffered a frustrating time on the 2007 machine.

for me Nicky would leave Repsol to throw off sic pressure from Honda and his teammate...than he can stay with normal team without spending fancy times with Pedrosa. Pedrosa somehow fit to Repsol and Ducati Marlboro -> none of them know the're robots;P Hayden isn't and it's good for him.

I hope Nicky does leave Honda, getinto a team that respects him and gives him the best.
All the work he does for Honda (and for that moaning midget) and he gets nothing in return. He's a great rider ( please no more crap about him being "gifted" the championship -he had the most points at the end of the season so he won!) a very very hard worker and he deserves better.

I bet Nicky regrets not taking that Ducati seat for 06... Still if Melandri keeps on going as he is, and Marlboro still sponsor Ducati next year he may still have a chance to go there and give it a shot.

Well Cindy S, worthy champions dont get left in the dust by midgets do they ?
What more is he due from Honda ? Riding lessons ? Let's see Nicky prove that his championship was not straight out of a Cracker Jack box this year then.

Dani pedrosa has more talent than nicky hayden so it's normal that he have the first seat. And dani is a fantastic person.

Look
Hayden tested a lot in the wintertesting and pedrosa nothing.
BUT pedrosa is 3th( fanstastic, with a injured hand)
and mr.hayden is 10th. That shows the talent of pedrosa.
And the stupid things of hayden.
Come he was wc in 2006 and know he is Nothing. WHY????
And don't say that repsol honda is the raison, because they are the best team in the world. NICKY SAID THAT TOO!!!!!!!!

Nick is a true sportsman, a great character; The image of the perfect motorbiker. And without a doubt belongs to the 10 best riders in the world.
But his results are embarrassing...
It wouldn't make much difference on any other bike, I' m afraid.

Zostje:..[snip]...''without a doubt belongs to the 10 best riders in the world''.

I agree Zostje, Nicky has ridden well. Lets look at his results so far in Moto GP:
5th,(2003) 8th,(2004) 3rd,(2005) 1st,(2006) 8th (2007) in the championship.

Which means his 'average' rating is 5th in the championship, not bad, and yes
he is therefore in the top 10 as you said. ;)

But what worries me is 3 wins in 5 years, that's 0.6 WINS - per year.

So he's Mr Consistent & Mr Nice Guy - but not Mr Winner.
I'l miss him if he leaves, just wish he won more.
Certainly more fun to see him on the podium than Dani Pedrosa, who looks uniterested.
