It's got to be an improvement over that hound he rode in the first round.

Indeed, that was naughty of Nicky to wave his fists like that. Really not understandable; he should go and see a specialist.

Poor Dani, he only took away his WC-advantage with just a race to go and people start shouting at him like that. Poor poor Dany. Nobody understands him.

Is that the way it should be interpreted. ;)

Hayden NEVER gets into stupid politics even when he's provoked. If he's wrong he admits it. He waves away the dumb blah and goes on doing his thing.

But, between his cool head and being dekcuf like Dani did in 2006, in the heat of the race, pumped up with adrenaline, there is a HUGE DIFFERENCE. Its understandable.

Chu Chu, sorry to burst your bubble but in Qatar, Nicky did not have access to the same equipment as Dani. Honda provided Dani with a new chassis that Nicky didn't have access to so, he went with the 07 bike. And it most likely that the data they used to build that chassis came from all the testing Nicky did while Dani rested his hand.

Honda is proving itself to be the same company Rossi escaped from, and Hayden will be gone for the same reasons, if nothing else. Nevermind the fact that he's developed the 08 bike so far and wasn't allowed to ride it, but it's also clear that Honda has picked it's primadonna of the future.

And for the record...no motogp rider is as cool as Hayden when it comes to the BS politics of the series.

zx9r Steve - no, I'm a bloke and I'm English and I can't say line dancing appeals to me in the slightest. Question: Are you going with your "ive never seen anybody loose it in public like Hayden does" or your "i know they all do it but dont tell me he dosent." They all do it? Or just Hayden? The former because you just want to kick up a stir? Or the latter because you've now realised you were wrong?!

Harryx you nailed it with your comments on the Hayden/Pedrosa 2006 incident.

The way fans react and rant about motorsport, it's teams, drivers/riders, and manufacturers is far from balanced calm and fair.

A fan carries on like a **** and it's "passion" and a rider who is fighting for his first championship that gets poleaxed by his own team mate is a loon and ****** for reacting in response to seeing his dream and hard work slip away.

Maybe Jim Richards got it right about most race fans after winning the Bathurst 1000 he called those in attendance who were pissed that he was awarded the race, " A Pack of A s sholes".

brilama - wrong - nicky discarded the 08 bike during testing; he basically cpouldnt get anythinmg better than the 07 - the 07 bike he ended up riding in 07, which was basically dani s bike. he also discarded the 08 engine in testing - which didnt look that bad to me in qatar
even so, dani has beaten nicky last year by a mile. nicky was the weakest defending champion in recent history. rossi left honda with the best bike on the grid developed by him and 3 titles. nicky will leave after one title and two terrible years providing he performs in 08 as bad as in 07

honda has never kept anyone on board with nicky s results. he s been there for 6 years, and has had one title only, and just a handful of wins (less than pedrosa and less than sete for example, who was in a sat honda team fpor 3 years)

The 800's are different than the 990's.Comparing them or related titles is irrelevant. Nicky was never able to defend his crown on equal terms. He won the last "kings-class" crown. A new video-era has started.

For Qatar, Honda made a new chassis (for Dani?), who got 2 bikes to choose from. Nicky only got the one that, at the time, was working best for him. Clearly, from the info I read, there is a preference by Honda for Dani. Logical really. Dani is a 250 rider and the smooth 800 Honda is to be riden like one.

Hayden needs to adapt; if he can we don't know. BUT there is no reason to bring him down. This guy is a racer with a big heart; he deserves the respect for that alone.
