Can't agree more with Hayden. They've built tracks in countries that have very little "history" in racing, then when a 1000 people show up they decide to go into night racing (to hide empty grandstands?) saying that its to regain dwindling European audiences, so why not add more venues in Europe and the States where bike racing in any of its forms is truly appreciated.

bikerbird, please don't confuse news with rumour. Sure Dovi has only finished fourth once. IT WAS HIS FIRST RACE in MotoGP and he was on a satellite bike. Your post implied that he'd been in MotoGP since 2002. Fact is that he's been a loyal Honda rider since then, winning in the lower series, on Honda, when Honda were withdrawing their support and development from those series. He didn't moan when he kept being beaten by Lorenzo on a full factory Aprilia, he just kept his head down and raced as best he could, even winning sometimes. If I were HRC, I'd be very interested in giving him a works ride in the future.

Sorry for not replying been away. I saw it on ITV text page 480 on the day I wrote it, but can't find it anywhere else on the web. I also agree there is too much history with him winning WC for HRC to do anything rash. Anyway Dani hasn't been a lot better

The point is every rider out there is good......or they wouldnt be there !!! Nicky is a good bike rider, one of the best, but as Dylan said the times they are a changing !

For Nicky I think it is time for a change!!

Just my opinion.....ok ;)

Jerez will be yet another nail in the Hayden coffin. It's blatantly quite obvious to anyone with an open mind that Hayden cannot adapt to the 800s and probably never will. The question now is WHEN and not IF he gets the bullet from HRC.

Pedrosa needs to pull his finger out too. He's now in his 3rd season with HRC and only 4 wins. That would be good if your only an average rider BUT when you have been hailed as the new Rossi and you ride for Repsol then the world demands more. We hear the talk but we don't see the goods, time to deliver Dani or get replaced with someone who can...

One of Nicky s problem is tghat he doesnt seem to change his style ... Sure the 800s have meant an inconvenient for him , but he didnt reall adapt well to the 990cc in the first place euther. Melandri, Sete, Tamada all won races on the same bike than Nicky with less time on it ...

No Dakota, Jacko said he predicted - not wanted, predicted - Valle might DNF … and kind of implied he hoped Dani Pedrosa would win. I pointed out it was equally likley Dani might DNF.

Do try and keep up at the back, there's a good chap ;-)
