Pure speed in these masters, no matter what form of racing. He could ride a snail around a circuit in under 2 minutes.

Come on... this is a stunt.

Vito Guareschi injured his a$$ so now Schumi gets a ride.
This is BS.

This is Rossi feigning a switch to F1 all over again. :?

Granted but it's strange that an amateur (albeit it one who's been trained by the best and has limitless opportunities to practice with the best equipment etc) can go that quickly on the Ducati, the one bike that appears to be so un-user-friendly, at least when ridden by the professionals ('cept Casey of course). They always say, though, that it's the last one or two seconds that are really hard to find.

For sure Rossi was far more impressive with the F1 Ferrari. At this stage Schumi and Ducati are very well aware it would mean harakiri for the German to be thrown in the middle of an official test session, like Vale succesfully did.

Ducati are masters in PR.Look at their twinseater with Mamola p.eg !

Take Casey Stoner out and put Michael schumacher and hey I will be a Ducati Fan anytime. Sometimes its the personality of the sportsman that make you wanna watch the sport. Look at Tiger Woods, Valentino Rossi, Michael Jordan. Michael Schumacher included :-o

yeah Garry, but even if you gave 9500 of those 10 000 a full year on the bike, u'd see little improvement ... whereas I'd bet Schumacher wud get to within just a second or 2 of competitive times.

Sure he would, what rubbish.Surely you can see its PR.As for the other guy what a joke. Yeah lets watch MotoGP for the personalities..Stoner is a racer just like Lawson,Rainey etc. They race 100% and if you are unable to appreciate that then why watch racing.

Saran....Most people like bikes because it is their favourite model......seems you only like them coz of who sits on it......put your head back in the sand will you

Ducati dont need the PR.....They just got bike of the year. Schumacher is Ferrari and Ducati has a long history with them......I am sure it was a offer of friendship and I know I would jump at the chance, jeez not even journos get that long on the bikes.

wtf guys - if saran likes to see the riders then fine - when i watch f1 , i cant give 2 fcks about the manufacturer.

my mum likes rossi. she doesnt know what a sparkplug is. people watch a sport for many reasons, and you re no one to diss anyone. u dont need to be a biker to enjoy motorcycle racing
