Maybe if people were stopping to consider Rossi like the older brother they always dreamt of having, we could get some interesting conversations, no ? But most posts are just inconsistent gibbrish about how much the Doctor owns everyone on the planet...

Same about stoner: you may hate the guy, but still he won the 2007 WC hands up and his performances on the GP7 must earn him respect. None of us can come even closer to how these riders do their job, so respect to even the 18th guy on the grid.

Are you serious? look at Jerez 07, look at the 08 practice times and quali times for all the Ducatis..... please wake up and smell the coffee just relaying the facts does not make one a Stoner groupie, Alas refusal to face these obvious facts does make one a clown groupie from my experience of that I have no doubt

marty first of all i am no groupie...i have seen in post after post the kind of comments that you pass so i really don't want to fall down to your level

i dont know why Red Casey groupies like you always like to compare his performace with the other Ducatis..it is not a Ducati cup is it???

also speaking of the other Ducatis...Melandri has lost the will to fight..less said about Elias and the french guy the better...

Of course Casey does not deserve the hate from the groupies but the funny thing is it honestly simply brings to light their own insecurity nothing more nothing less.... As they say in the classics its when they stop talking about you! thatswhen you need to worry!!! they simply cant shut up and simply explain with any logic what so ever why their 'yellow god' was constantly decimated in 07 by another newby kid on a "hard to ride" red bike.

Jerez! wow to ask what was the excuse was in Jerez for Casey???... makes me wonder how seriously some really take notice of whats going on at all OK then we should also then ask what happened to ALL the Ducatis...... basically- set up, chassis/tyre dynamics at that partictular circuit.
Its blindingly easy to critisize..... if you choose NOT to acknowledge that although Casey ran off twice he "still" was the first of four Ducatis to cross the finishing line!!! maybe some of these yellow casey hating groupie's would like to explain that fact to me if they dare

Hey, I'm not saying Stoner is god, but he doesn't deserve the unreasoning hate he gets from some of the commentators on this site who are as close to drooling idiots as it's possible to get (and the same for the Rossi haters..). I mean - TC saves his tyres? Far as I know the Duc is still rear-wheel drive only. Melandri is a podium-class rider on a FAQ bike but he can't wrangle the Duc to much within 2 secs. a lap of Stoner so there's something basically fairly evil with the Ducs at the moment; same last year with Capirex. The Ducs are running last, second last, often 3rd last, and Stoner way further up the field. The guy is trying hard, he deserves some respect.

ok the camera issue as a serious one and riding at those speeds you would not want something flapping around and especially not having it get jammed in your steering or something...

but what was the cause of coming 11th in Jerez?? Stoner is feeling the pressure much more than last year and even though some people may say that Rossi is a lost cause Stoner has to deal with him, Dani and Jorge this year...

if the michelin's dont work on some of the tracks as they did last year then Jorge and Dani will have a problem but with Rossi on the BS and riding fast too, Stoner will definitely be affected mentally..

anyway let the best man win...the season is far from over....

If any of you have ever raced (I have, cars not bikes, though)you'd know that the only time you have to even check instruments properly is on a decent straight if you are not overtaking / being overtaken. If something is loose - and you can identify it and plan for what it might do - you can drive around it (mostly) but if it's doing one thing one time and another thing another time it's seriously worrying. As for ripping it off and chucking it - if you don't know what function it performs, that's totally risking being able to finish. Just about everything that could go wrong the whole round at Estoril did, for Stoner; he still got the bike home and gathered some points.

Fair call, though I dont know about one of his best rides..... The loose camera equipment must have been of concern especially if he was not sure what it was flapping around. I would go as far as saying casey put in the second best ride of the Moto GP race under the circumstances and considering how the other Duc''s are going.

Horhay was #1 without doubt at Estoril taking rossi so convinsingly and then blowing him and Dani away to the point of demoralizing them at the press conference beyond belief..... loooking forward to seeing Horhay and Casey go head to head now most likely for the rest of the year

I cant wait for the long straights of Luguna Seca ,Stoner will brain em again.
