Ace 27 u ve been quiet during Casey s last defeats ...
actually CS did his fastest laps after the black box came outr

"sort the front and everything will fall into place" i think you should call ducati and provide them with that valuable insight - they ll appreciate it

as you will all agree with me ducati made a huge mistake when they got rid of loris capirossi, loris was the guy who helped develop the gp7 throughtout the season he may not have won on it but it made a WC bike for stoner, thing is now loris has gone there is no one to develop the bike would you guys agree???? , im glad this has happend maybe ducati wont take things for granted in the future, at the end of the day with capirossi gone stoner cant develop **** and melandri is going nowhere fast ans hes a good rider.
loris has alot of knowledge setting up a bike and they turned there back on him,
stoner is a great rider but he doesnt have the knowledge to develop the gp8 the way loris could.

isn't it like asking a champ car driver or a formula ford driver to help the formula one championship team to solve some setup problems???
shouldn't if be the other way around??
with all respect to Ducati they just need another good test rider.
when Vittoriano Guareschi got hurt instead of working on setup the let Shumi play a hole bay on the bike...
if they had another good test rider maybe the will be in a different situation now...

Chu I think Ducati know about it, its not really there department, BS is the culprit, they need to change or revert back to the 07 type tyre.

Oh and me being quiet is coincidentle, I see you've had your fun, we'll see how funny things are in a few races???

Rossi's head in towel said enough dont you think, Lunatics victory really burned Rossi AND Pedrobot.

As for Casey not knowing how to develop the bike, Its Ducati philosophy that the engineers do the developing and the rider makes it work, Casey has never developed a bike so he has to learn. To say he cant is simply ignorent, I bet he knows enough to make a start then kick on, and anyway his problem is the front tyre.

instead of telling Barros off for doing well on a satellite Ducati and then sacking him...
if the had used his experience and used him as a outside adviser like Honda dose with Doohan maybe the had a even better bike then what it is today, and is good.

Big difference between Barros and Doohan is that Doohan won races and championships on a HRC Honda whereas Barros just made Hayden look good. ;)

did Doohan ride a 990 or a 800??? didn't he ride in a different era?
he was there for his experience not for his championships!
and as for experience Barros has more then Doohan (bigger variety of bikes)

Joker, you obviously don't know what happened as Capirex has been proposed a GP8 in a three-men team and he refused...Big bucks or pride ?

I think it's a brilliant idea to bring in the old men, it'll be a great test.
If Bayliss rides fast, it'll prove the GP8 needs agressive riding and tetrafeedback from the front as Casey likes it.
If Max rides fast, it'll show the GP8 can be ridden smoothly and fast and it's all in the head (Max is going to want to be so good at this test cos this is his ticket back to MotoGP).

In either case, Ducati needs someone that can ride real fast cos Guareshi, as good as he is, just can't come back with datas usable for Casey (cos he's 4 seconds off)

i don't think a test rider needs to ride fast. if he did he wasn't a test rider but an official rider.
Vittoriano Guareschi /Loris Capirossi combination worked really good and Casey's result last year is a proof of that!!!
maybe Stoner/Guareschi is not as good. that's why i say they need test riders not show men. bike development isn't done in one weekend. its a long process and you need a team that understand each other.
yes it will be nice to see Biaggi crash and Bayliss slide but i don't think it will work.

RR: the few seconds "off the pace" Guareschi has, added to the three other datas bringing home zilch infos, is what makes the GP8's development slow.

How can you say the test rider doesn't need to go fast ? Some aerodynamics only start working at certain speed, and some parameters need to be checked at the limit, not 4 seconds off the limit !!!

It will surely work to have the feedback of a two times WC working in that factory and with these people for nearly a decade and a multiple WC very eager to prove his point and get that MotoGP ticket...

Anyway, Guareschi is down and out for now. Bring in Bayliss and Max.
