Goodness me. How hard is it to understand? At least you aren''t trapped INSIDE your vehicle if anything happens. Usually you''re of before it hits anything solid or catches fire. And IF you crash, chances are pretty big you end up with only some bruises or some minor fractures at most. Hey, getting TO the circuit is more dangerous than actually being ON it.

Let Bernie happily destroy F1 with his ''safety'' features and stop whining over the real motorised racing. Geez.

Well at 39 MS had to find if he has the balls for real racing.
Bike racing makes a mockery of all Max the Perv Mosely's slowing down of F1 cars.
Racing is about speed and excitement, bikes have that in abundance and Murray Walker even admits that bike racing is better than car racing.

Bernbie - Will you just shut up. Michael is doing with his life what he wants. He earned it. Life is risk, deal with it. Me thinks that Berniew is only concerned becasue he thinks that Michael shoud still be racing so F1 can make more money.

Personlly I condsider that Michal''s obvious passion for two wheels (and speed) is never gon to go away. As a 60 yr old daily rider (and racer) I can understand that. Good on ya, Mike!

Once a racer, always a racer.

I was never a great fan of Schumacher while in F1, but I have to admit I am much more interested in seeing him try our bikes. Much like the interest people take in Rally with Rossi or Pastrano.

I am thrilled Bernie plays with cars. Clearly he would destroy MotoGP in a single season.

All forms of Motorsport are dangerous. The risk is down to the rider/driver. Schu is aware of this and the thrill of speed and competition must, for him, outweigh the risk.
Bike racing gives him the opportunity to overtake and have some close racing without having to worry about overtaking in the pits, something unheard of in F1.

Go for it Schue

Ecclestone is famous for his reactionairy views,
when Danica Patrick became successfull in Indycar racing his comment was: women should wear skirts...
Time to retire old man!

Eccelstone is only worried that Schumacher may be getting more and better news coverage than his beloved F1. :)

What business is it of Ecclestone or Todt if a former F1 star chooses to race motorcycles in his retirement? Many professional drivers are into bikes and some of them are/were bloody quick too (I count Schumacher in that group, along with Colin McRae). I would far rather watch Schuey racing a bike than a F1 and he's obviously enjoying it immensely.
