Rossi hasn't had a poor performance yet!
He is, after all, the leading Bridgestone rider.
And the only one to consistently be near the top of the timesheets wet or dry.

it's almost as if he gets on the bike hits the go button and hangs on sipping tea and eating scones while the job is done for him, somehow he's the only one on a Ducati that presses the go button correctly??
In contrast if anyone on the grid does anything good it is somehow attributed to Rossi – using his setups, Honda are fast because of when he was there, the team mate is fast because he copies from Rossi - any subsequent failures of Rossi are attributed to someone else (the best one yet is Michelin made him bad tyres last year because of a T shirt he wore upset them!!! I bet you think WWE is real too)…cont

I'm not having a go at Rossi, none of the above is his doing and his record speaks for itself but clearly there needs to be some balance.

Good comments Greg - well done, very succinctly put, you've hit the nail right on the head without having to resort to any obnoxious rantings...Ace, Marty study his work, this is how it's done.

No hint of smugness or condescending towards others...Morgue, Harryx take note...

I just love Shirley Bassey's voice, so I have NO choice than to agree with Gregg. :)

I can't wait.

There are so many indicators that show that last years race will be no reference for this years.

Let's Race... :) :) :)

Stoner is excellent. Pedrosa is excellent. Lorenzo is a legend in process. Rossi is already a legend. And all the others guys would ambarass you on any road with any bikes I you had the opportunity to ride along. So cut the fan-atic nonsense.Respect these guys who dedicate their life to speed and motorbikes and make us have fun everyweek. Accept the facts all the wannabe "hooligans" or switch to football. Rossi carreer is far from over: he will shine again but he will never be alone at the top anymore. His supremacy is gone ,but he still is Motogp. He is the reference. The man to beat. We will see if Lorenzo can catch up wih him.The lack of respect for Rossi is cheer stupidity.

maxence - in one breath you say cut the fan-tic nonsense then in the next breath launch into a the very same fan-tic nonsense over Rossi. He is no longer the man to beat. He has not won the championship for the last two years and this year is trailing his rookie team mate by a good margin. 'He is the reference' - what a load of old tosh!

Pity you "shortsighted" jacko.Try to understand that when I said" the man to beat" I meant not last year, the year before ...I was talking about his awesome motogp record. And he is still racing and not that far away from the top isn't he?

Hi Harryx,

Jan Witteveen knows his stuff, he's done marvels for Aprilia. These Maxtra people sure got some famous names from the racing world gathered there, let's see how (if) it turns out. Might take a while though, most new teams/makes take a couple of seasons to gather data and ripen.
