One thing i did think, is that the bridgestones would struggle with the cooler conditions, they loved it when it was hot...so i thought that they may struggle...but yeah, it all came together...

Anthony - Rossi decided that Dani settled for second, he had a few fastest laps in a row in the later stages. Dani wanted that and thought it was his as he should he's a serious contender..
Casey is wrong, every point is gonna count. I think he thought he would romp this and so wasn't worried about being behind in the points

agreed gina, i think there is some real talent there, he was able to cut it with lorenzo when he had a much inferior bike in the 250's

i hope he keeps the momentum going and he takes hayden's seat next season.

i can see hayden leaving motogp at the end of the season, i bet he doesnt come cheap, but who's gonna want to pay big money for someone who rarely breaks the top 5 anymore in results.

Dani was gaining on Rossi down the straights without a slipstream, so I don't understand why he didn't bother to get in behind him.

Yes Rossi was very strong out of that corner, but Dani managed to pull back other places.

I like Rossi, and it was very nice to see him finally getting that win, and the joy he obtain from that win. I just not very fond of some of his fans. Remember he is a racer not a prophet!

My point is, rossi haters have been all over this board saying he's over the hill on his times up, i've always argued the case like many, you can never count off someone who's a 7 time world champion and is only 28yrs old.

Yes, yamaha have a brilliant bike this season, but also he's now on the same tyre's as stoner, which is what most people wanted to see, yet still thought rossi wouldnt beat him.

I'm not saying stoner his a bad rider or not good enough, that would just be stupid...he has talent thats clear to see, what he needs to see, is that this season, he's gonna have to work harder than he did last year.

Hayden and Stoner are One-Once champs - they both did it and they both took the No/1 plate. Number ONE unfortunately means ONCE as well - good for them - they have entered the history of motogp like that and should be happy with that - not angry...

great race by rossi. well done. he is back. but then he was never really gone anyway. just a few people wish that he were.....the apparently unbeatable stoner isn't so unbeatable anymore. now its clear for all to see that he is not THAT good, now that the ducati has lost its speed advantage. he is definitely in the top 4 of the riders. but its clear that rossi, pedrosa, and lorenzo can beat him regularly on equally competitive machinery... also great race by perdosa and lorenzo.... i bet it wasn't easy for lorenzo, but he fought through till the end.
