Good to see Rossi back at the top again...Good to see Stoner the moaner blame everybody but himself...Would have liked to see Colin finish on the podium. This year is shaping up better than last year now that the bikes are all equal or there abouts on power, proving that the Ducati was a flash in the pan last year and that Moaner,,,sorry Stoner isn't really that exceptional a rider as some blinkered people thought..... :p

Even getting on the box couldn't console the Australian: "A podium this far off is just about not worth it," Stoner told the BBC. Casey Stoner needs to start fighting for a win again, for his own peace of mind, if not for his title defense.

My point was that I just can't see how a tailwind could cause the over-rev situation. I'm familiar with what can happen when governing equipment is removed, and I'm also familiar with revving the tits off an engine..I've spun a few up in my day. I'm just curious, and admittedly, a bit skeptical, of Pedrosa's explanation.

Also...as I haven't seen the race yet, were riders fighting the same wind in other areas of the track?

6th gear on race bikes is exactly calculated to allow the engine to reach maximum revs exactly at the braking point on the longest straight. A bit shorter and it will over-rev, longer and top-speed will suffer. Now at 330 Km/h the wind plays a major role in drag so if its a tailwind it can throw calculations off the window due to much increased top speed.

Stoner is now moaning eerytime he doesnt win. seems now if he dosnt win by 10 secs it s all the bike s fault. Not that he used to win last yera cos Dani and Rossi were on lawnmovers shod with bubblegum tyres.

I'm left eating a big piece of humble pie. Rossi was outstanding and back to his best. The race had something for everyone. Pedrosa and Lorenzo must also be be very pleased with the results. Especially Dani who now leads the championship and knows that a major engine improvement is on it's way. 4 races and 4 different winners. Outstanding entertainment.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah chu chu.. you made your point clear, so he is moaning a little but he is doing exactly the same as I do at the moment...At least Melandri and Toni elias let me smile, so let's see how le mans will turn out..(3 ducati's at the top 8 that's progress) Maybe Casey need a little chat with Presiozi that worked out for Toni Elias.. :D

Kees what im saying is u cant just assume it s xmas everyday. he should ve realised last year his main rivals , guys who d beat him since the start of his career, were in clear inferiority. What about those half assed 10 laps sessions in preseason? Did Ducati and Casey really thought 100 points ahead at the end of the chship is their natural position against a decent Yamaha and Honda package? Come on.
