Things seems quite normal today, the top riders are where they should be,thus Pedrosa, Stoner,Rossi,Lorenzo and Edwards (top qualifier),with the small surprise Chris V well up there.Edwards will probably do well on Q tyres, but even if he take another pole with 10sec margin he still gone drop back during the race, 5-6 position at best! Melandri don''t have the cure for the Ducati (as it looked like at China),just as the 2 other Ducati back markers. Some should switch bikes (Hayden-Melandri),some should go other places.West should find a tropical MotoGP championship were it always rains...

Supprised how well the BS tyres are doing,
also at the top speeds of some of the bikes..
The Suzuki the fastest followed by the Duke and
then the kawasaki(??) all within 1kph!

I hope the weather dosent stuff this race up as it looks like
its going to be real close.

Pedrosa has put in some impressive times in the first two free practices. I'm surprised to see Rossi down in 6th but at least he's only a little over half a second down from the top riders. But he has his work cut out to get the bike sorted for the race. The Michelin shod Yamahas seem to be doing a little better but I'm sure Rossi and his team will improve before the race. But as we all know practice is one thing and the race is another. Go Rossi!!!

Rossi was probably just swapping that tyre out to
his other machine to see how it felt with a different
Faster to do that than to completely change the setup
of the machine he was on.
Would indicate it was a major setup change.
Maybe he has chatter.

I'm afraid it will be Pedrosa's track if it dry race. Similar like Jerez, body weight play big part in this race. The only rider can hunt Pedrosa at this track is Rossi. Lorenzo does not fit enough at the moment. The track was tight enough for Ducati. Unless, stoner really want to use soft tire and make a very good start.

The other rider who can surprise us is CE and Melandri. Melandri, for instance, if he could tame Ducati with a similar a setup like his Yamaha year, it may helps. Checa used to run well at this track on Ducati. I guess, he may sacrifice the top speed and go for smoothness handling...

I'm sure Lorenzo doesn't care who Stoner is at this point because he doesn't matter. He's probably more concerned about who's leading the championship and who may be catching up i.e. Rossi.
