Ace u v never raced a bike. Ps2 games are NOT racing.
One that has ever raced bikes wouldnt say a 2 time WSBK champion will never "amount to anything"

Jurno.. Your kidding arnt you??? Just because "one" fool
wrote some garbage about the cricketers and then pommie media got hold of it, (I saw the rot that The Times were writing)you beleive its true.
That reporter quickly changed his tune when he saw the backlash against him and most people said he should go live in Britian for punishment..... :D

Now back to the bikes, is there a minimum of how many Motogp bikes
are to be on a grid before some of the teams are made to field a 3rd bike. (like in F1)?
I feel there should be more than 18, not just to make up the numbers but more factory bikes.

"The top three from last year's 250cc class - Jorge Lorenzo, Alex de Angelis and Andrea Dovizioso - were headhunted for this year, and their successors don't seem to have enough experience to handle 800cc and 210bhp."

er, what?
so lorenzo, de angelis and dovizioso had a sign around their neck last year, saying they had enough experience to handle the machines? where exactly is the difference to the 250 riders this season? none of them had been on those bikes before either.

what about bautista? he was good last year, is again this year, has the same amount of experience as the three motogp rookies and seems well capable of handling the big bikes.

i don't understand that statement at all...

The silly season is definitely in full effect. I see Sylvan and West going to WSS or BSS. Elias if he's not pickup by Honda or Kaw will go to WSBK. Marco will go back to Grensini or LCR and his Ducati seat will go to Hayden.

All the Yamaha riders will stay put. Dovi will get NH Repsol Seat and Chris V will probably go to Kaw. Ben Spies will take Chris's place at Suzuki or get taken by another factory team.

That's just my 2cent.

One small error in the story: De Puniet signed for two years at LCR, not one.

I know that it is totally unworkable, but I sometimes wish that things were run like league football. The top 4 finishers in WSB promoted to MotoGP and the bottom 4 in MotoGP sent down. In terms of small grids I think the lowest we ever got down to was 13 in Mamola days.

I'm usually one to say that when a riders had their chance they've had their chance. And it would go for several of the riders under question. But I would like to see McCoy given a shot on the Ducati. Put a few bricks in his pockets for traction and call it job done.

Also, I'd think Kalio and Bautista could handle the 800s. But I'd like to see them both win a 250cc championship before moving on.

Josh Herrin #46 rides for Graves Yamaha in the 600 supersport class in AMA. The kid is only like 18 and he is incredibly talented and comes from a two stroke background. He's got corner speed and he's never touched a superbike. Give him Edwards' Tech 3 seat and I think he'll outshine Toseland...
