it''s surely not good when team make mistakes with setup but also not good when rider can''t talk with understanding with his mechanics, then you don''t know who is incompetent :? looking back to F1 and former Kubica chief mechanic was a big mistake, now with new chief he''s taking his seat to the pole! it''s the same with Melandri & Co. Kawasaki needs to new build suspension step by step. They''re fast but power delivery is poor (bike is snaking everywhere if you''re touching gas!) So? what is the solution? It can''t be competitive machine just in rainy condition. Oliver Jacque was awesone in2005 China but only in rain and West is also good in rain but it''s all about dry racing.

Here''s an answer Ant: "We don''t currently have a rider on our Number 13 Kawasaki, capable of giving us sufficient feedback to determine a direction of development for this machine. The performance of our wildcard riders in upcoming events will help determine the future of this particular rider"!

What about every other race then? Ant is a great WSS rider but he has had long enough in Motogp now and it appears he is not up to the task. When RDP and Hopper both finish many places in front of him week after week I think West has to start pointing the finger of blame at himself.

Well, Ant's situation is difficult to grasp. Last year he didn't match Randy step for step, but he definately wasn't as far away as he is now. This year's bike simply doesn't seem to work as well as last year's one - Hopper hasn't really managed to put in the kinds of results he used to get on the Suzuki either. But if it's West who is poor, then the crucial question is: who do you replace him with? I can't see Chaz Davies or Roger Lee Hayden being much of an improvement over West - remember that Ant was also excellent in other classes. The dream scenario for Kwak would be if Ducati finally got rid of Melandri. But perhaps it'd be better to put the money in the bike?

Very true. He's oft acknowledged as the best rider/developer of the Hayden brothers, and he's comfortable when the bike is a bit "loose"

I hope he recovers from his injuries soon, as well...

Here's another answer Ant "The Kwak is dire and even if it was a top machine the fact is you ain't good enough for MotoGP" so call it a day and give someone else a chance...

Kawasaki is crap, the question is who came out with the worse 2008 bike Kawasaki or Ducati, out of those 6 bikes Stoner is the only one that is doing reasonable and his bike handles like an elephant with greasey feet and shakes in a straight line, both of these makes are making fools of their riders
