You don't have to understand Brendan, it's perfectly ok.
He is a legend of the sport and we love him. What he did today and honouring the great Angel Nieto in the process
shows what a great ambassador for the sport he is. We have had a year full of rubbish being spewed over him,
idiotic outcries about irrelevant things like his looks, age or supposed lifestyle. Outcries of people trying to spoil our fun.
Today he showed us again what a fantastic character he is. I hope we will see him win a lot more/

Go Vale! :)

MOTOGP » Rossi: 180 victories on one bike!

Unlike some sporting stars, Valentino Rossi is very conscious of his place in history - and paid a special tribute to Angel Nieto after equalling the superstitious '12+1' world champion's 90 grand prix victories on Sunday.

Watch him & enjoy the best in the world :) :)

I'm sure there will be more to come, Rossi is getting stronger with each Race as most of us Rossi fans predicted.

Are there any fans of Motogp on here going to Donnington to watch the GP this year?

Nigel Tasker - I'm going to the MotoGP at Donington this year, mainly to see how JT gets on. Seeing the 'greatest of all time' back on top form is another excellent reason to go. Can't wait!

HI BRENDAN,

HE IS NOT ONLY A SUPER RIDER FOR ME. HE IS A BUSINESSMAN WHO IS ALSO SHOW ORIENTED. AND THAT' S WHY I WRITE AS ABOVE. I THINK IF THE MOTOGP IS SO POPULAR ALL AROUND THE WORLD. PROBABLY MOST OF THE PORTION BELONGS TO ROSSI AND HIS SHOWS BOTH ON AND OFF TRACK.

:)

BUT TO BE HONEST AFTER SEEING THE SUCCESS OF LORENZO, MY HAT IS ALSO OFF FOR HIM!...

ok true to a point and fair play thats your view on him as a racer, if i think he is very very good.

but motorbike racing was as big before him, and will be when he is gone. i have been to brands hatch when 120,000 turn up on many occasions. he has never rode a bike round brands. and sadly for the fans of him never will. so dont agree that most of the fans of bikes are rossi fans. tho plenty im sure like him.

thats cool morgue i see why u love him, i do get it. to a point lol

my point is, i dont agree that one man is motorcycling. and some of us who like all of the riders, get tired of the press telling us they he is grand prix racing.

im sure many a long racing fan, who has, Mike, Ago, Roberts, sheene, rainey, mick, vale and the rest. will agree.

im not saying his bad at all, i think he is a superb rider.
