Great to see Simoncelli win but this has a bit of a sour taste. I don't think he knew exactly where Barbera was (left or right that is) but his move was abrupt and dangerous. The last word is probably not spoken about this incident.

3rd time this season - he didnt know where he was? like he cant hear him - he knew he didnt have a chance on the last lap, cos barbera s bike was faster - guy needs to be banned from next gp and stripped off today s points - he sent barberá straight to the wall

Didn't Simoncelli do the same thing to Mika Kallio a few weeks ago? That was a pretty unpleasant move as well. So he has history.

Simoncelli, that is not racing, deliberately ramming someone(looked like Hectors front brake locked) who is going to slipstream you is in no way a racing incident..I'm astonished it was allowed. There is no doubt he will do it again if he gets away with it and someone could be seriously hurt.. If it happened in the Motogp class there would be a riot...

Simoncelli needs one of these people he
keeps taking out, to pay him a hostile
visit after the race.

Otherwise he is gonna keep on doing it,
as Dorna doesn't seem to have a problem
with these moves when he pulls them!

Someone get in there and at least pull
his freaky hair!!

what the hell are you all talking about??????
every one is allowed to ride defensive! its been done in all classes.
the problem is that other riders that follow riders so closely are ten times more cautious then psycho Hector.
Barbera himself is known to be a very dangerous rider himself ,and as you saw after the incident he didn't get mad, angry, pissed cos he knows it was his fault just like it was Marco's.

Rubbish, it was a legitimate move, there no rear view mirrors on racing bikes, this is a track notorious for slipstreaming on the finish straight, anyone in Simoncelli position would have done the same. Barabera was too close and should have expected Simoncelli to try and break the tow, simple case of Barbera being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
