I'd like to see Stoner do that but agree with the newlywed. Probably won't go that way. What I wonder is when we'll see some (ANY!) improvement in the Ducati on the whole. It just doesn't bode well when 75% of them are last or near last on the grid. Stoner could still pull of the Rider crown with some extraordinary riding this year but the Team and Mfg crowns will be lost unless the GP8 improves a bunch. A big bunch. None of the three other Ducati riders are as bad as the bike is making them look.

I wonder if we''ll see him clear off into the distance like he did several times last year?

I doubt it, this year just hasn't gone that way. Always possible though, but I reckon Pedrosa and Rossi will give him something to think about - assuming Rossi's race set up is better than his qualifying!

I imagine that CS will not clear off into the distance, because he is likely to have DP right along with him, whether these two have enough of an advantage by the riders in between them and Rossi to clear the pack, and elude his inevitable charge is the question that I am contemplating.

Don't see the tyres being an issue at this track

Looking forward to a Brilliant race tomorrow !!!

Standing wheely from Stoner? Is he starting to bring some showmanship to the game? :D

Was a pretty impressive wheeling Rock.

I hope Stoner can fight for the win but I don't expect any championship fight come back. According to the press Ducati have all but stopped developing the 08 bike, choosing to concentrate on the 09 machine instead.

Gina, it gets boring you know...

Hahaha. Welcome back, Gina. You had me worried there last week when you complimented Casey.

It is an impressive pole from Stoner when all other Bridgestone and Ducati riders are propping up the timesheets. It takes a very special person to not give him any credit for that one.

I'm going to stick with my pre-practice predictions of a Stoner, Pedrosa, and Rossi finish, but maybe Hayden can take third.

I wonder how much of the GP8 is left on the bike CS is riding or is he now riding an updated GP7? Either way the CS Ducati has been on the pace last weekend and this one.

Let's hope the weather does not turn the race into a lottery.

Glad to see Casey up front and confident. Nice to see all the close qualifying times near the top end. A little worrying Valentino 3RD row...but not TOO worrying. Hope all of this adds up to an exciting race!!!!
