Marc(not that Marc) the Honda was designed around Jockey Boy. Nicky (being an average sized adult)has stated more than once he's simply not comfortable on it. I hope for his sake he gets an opportunity to ride for a manufacturer willing to design a bike for a former World Champion and not his halfwit gnome teammate who almost cost him that championship.
Until the governing body imposes a minimum weight for bike and rider it's no wonder Pedrosa is winning.

MOTOGP » Hayden gets pneumatic for Donington!

HRC had said it was unlikely to be ready in time, but Nicky Hayden will make his pneumatic-valve grand prix debut at Donington Park.

Right. Let Hayden to do all the hard work and testing so the little rat can have the finished product. OTOH, Hayden deserves what he gets for not signing up with a normal team.

It's clear this 212 is designed for half pint jockeys with smooth riding styles and (designed for Pedrosa)just ask HRC they will agree, and those who deny it are just ignorant.

The MotoGp series should be called the (European National Championships) It's just not that realistic for those who don't come up through feeder system of 125 and 250.

Take your local superbike aces form your favorite series and put them WSBK (currently it's a much better show and more realistic).

Don't get me wrong I still enjoy MotoGp for the first 7 or 8 laps.

And why do the same people continue to go out of their way to bash Hayden? Aren't you people tired of wasting your time?

I call him little rat because I remember his selfish driving in 125/250. And his weight certainly helped him back then. He's having more respect against fellow drivers in premier class and the weight advantage in MotoGP is less significant indeed.

Pedrosa was great today at Day Of Champions at Donnington. He was clearly enjoying himself, laughing and smiling all the time. He went down very well with the crowd...

Nicky on the new machine!! I can't wait to see what happens. That is beautiful. I have to say, I used to dislike him alot during the 06 season. But, I've started to respect him alot more. Def not a primadonna like certain ppl. It's not only extra 1k rev. The powerband could've also changed, weight distribution, firing order, etc., can all affect things. Nicky seems to be more of the superbike/dirtbike, point and squirt type of rider, as oppose to DP's high corner speed style, so this will prob work out better. I really hope he can whoop DP's ass. Of course, I am still voting for Nicky to goto Ducati along side of Casey next yr. **** HRC.

D, just remember Nicky is still giving away a near 10% weight advantage to Jockey Boy. Stoner and Rossi are giving away 5%. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that IS significant. All else being equal that means faster acceleration, higher top speed, reduced fuel consumption, less tire wear, and shorter stopping distance. Not to mention reduced aerodynamic drag by being able to tuck in better due to his (J.B.'s) stature, or lack thereof. I'd just like to a level playing field for all competitors.
Hmmm...Dorna is a Spanish corporation.
Like you, I hope Hayden moves to a team that appreciates his ability. :)

Somebody wrote, "ABOUT FREAKIN TIME HONDA!"
Couldn't agree more. Honda's support (or, lack thereof) of their former 2006 champion is pathetic. If they really had any brains, they'd give Nicky the engine and turn off the electronic controls. Come to think of it, with all this electronic control stuff and puny displacement, Moto GP has become the new World Superbike series.

Give all the guys big engines and no electrics and you'd see the Hayden, Rossi, Caporpssi, and Hopkins show. Nope, Stoner and Dani couldn't run with them. Melandri might return, too.
