I am disgusted at the treatment of
Casey Stoner today. Casey was imperious all weekend and to be booed and called a ****** is unforgivable.I am a fan of Rossi and most of his fans but some are idiots who know nothing about racing.I swear they would be happy if the field consisted of only Rossi and noone else. Casey was the best rider last season. You cannot win a world championship in any sport by being lucky.Rossi couldn't keep up today.Get over it.I will now wait 1/2 hour until you rub your collective brain cell together and post some ludicrous comment in reply or i will have an idiotin curly wig and white jacket waiting outside ready to beat me to death with a dildo with Vale#46 on it

GP racing by definition is as much a constructor battle as it is a rider battle. Always has been, always will always be. Just take your ADD pills and get used to it. And anyone who thinks traction control is some sort of magical 'arcade' option probably calls roadside service to change a flat tyre.

Commentator Steve Parrish today said Casey uses his rear break as a form of traction control. Now I know zip about TC but if Casey's TC is sooo superior to everyone else why is he using his rear break? To me, I'd have thought using a mechanical break as a modifier of a TC system was rather crude..ie it should not be the case? Unless your ECU/TC stuff isn't that good in which case Casey maybe very skilled in riding and modifying the TC with the rear break? Just thinking aloud. :?

steve parish doesnt know **** about todays bikes.... you cant modify TC with your break the slipping that happens when you hit the break wont make any difference to the traction control..... what a stupid thing to say, traction control works when the wheel is going around and if it looses traction it activates and stops you giving it anymore power, kind of suspends your throttle control/revs to stop the wheel loosing traction while moving. "thats why its called "traction" control"
credit to stoner for a faultless performance, the new system they tried in catalunya tests paid off, ducati has the most advanced electronics, check the specs if you think its not true. LOL @ rear brake.

Who cares about Stoner he's miles off the championship pace and I don't expect Ducati to have the programme for every race.. Good to Rossi gaining more ground.

Come on Yamaha!! where are the upgrades??? Ducati still have a big power and electronics advantage..

Looking forward to Assen!! Should hopefully extend lead even further....might even drop into Amsterdam on the way up :-o me that is no Vale!!!!

****Please read this Stoner fan*****

Casey Stoner SAID from his own mouth on Saturday 22nd June 2008 - the bike is massively better as 'we have sorted the traction control issue'.

In the race, he destroys the opposition. Everyone accepts that, fanboy or not.

However, is it maybe possible, that his performance is linked to a software alteration? Please read what Stoner said, and compare his performance in all the races BEFORE Donnington.

Many thanks.

I'm a huge Rossi fan but hats off to Casey today. He has been awesome all weekend and he just doesn't make a mistake when he's in this form. Rossi bike set up was wrong (braking rather than speed) but I honestly don't think anyone would touch Casey this weekend.

Hurts me to say it, but "Well done Casey and the Ducati team".

Real shame for James - pushing too hard. If he did what he's done at previous races (ie, taken it as it comes and not pushed too hard) he would have had a good finish I reckon).

Nice one Scott Redding!!!!

Rossi's Yamaha has much more advanced Electronics and TC compare to Ducati that used 2007 system. On last race (Catalunya), Rossi overtake Stoner on braking was combination electronics braking system + TC which is Stoner doesn't have. It's so visible that Rossi didn't need to do hard braking and Ducati can't accelerate that fast after the apex.

It's a scary thought that all Yamaha has so advanced Electronics & TC has made them within top 10 every weekend. While so-called Ducati advanced Electronics and TC still need a rider skills to be able staying on the top group.

I afraid they had the 1st onboard RECORD-N-PLAY software which could put the bike on the same line every lap. I'm worried...

> I am a fan of Rossi and most of his fans but some are idiots who know nothing about racing.

Well, glad to hear but I really doubt by the way of your post. I fully agree in any *fan base* there would be extremes, no args on that. Problem is with the *stupid behavior* with few riders. Do you agree or not?

> You cannot win a world championship in any sport by being lucky.

I see! Then, what happened in 2006 :? 2007 I would give benefit of doubt, but not credit because even a high school kid knows the reasons. Maybe now you've tagged me a hater, in reality am not! I admire the champions who *respect* the champions :)

> Rossi couldn't keep up today. Get over it.

Keep up what :?
