I am disgusted at the treatment of
Casey Stoner today. Casey was imperious all weekend and to be booed and called a ****** is unforgivable.I am a fan of Rossi and most of his fans but some are idiots who know nothing about racing.I swear they would be happy if the field consisted of only Rossi and noone else. Casey was the best rider last season.You cannot win a world championship in any sport by being lucky.Rossi couldn't keep up today.Get over it.I will now wait 1/2 hour until you rub your collective brain cell together and post some ludicrous comment in reply or i will have an idiotin curly wig and white jacket waiting outside ready to beat me to death with a dildo with Vale#46 on it

zydon, you may have something there. This would explain why Melandri is complaining "can't feel the rear, bike feels like in wet".
However, don't thing things are so black/white. Stoner obviously has extensive - I mean extensive - knowledge how this all works, and the intelligence to make it work for him.

Now that the bike isn't bucking like a pig with a bunger up its fundamental it's easier to see what Stoner is doing - he's using rear brake to set the bike up for the corner and now he can drive it through and away cleanly. Most riders do that - heck, even I do, but at 1/10 of Stoner's speed.. he's simply very, very, very good at it, as is Rossi and most of the really quick guys. All the guys at the top are superb riders and those who don't give credit all round are demonstrating that they don't know how to ride a bike fast and don't have the intelligence to make sensible comments.

It really must be embarassing for all you Rossi fans to see such clowns as his fan/support base. Rossi is a legend & Stoner is a damn good rider! It is just pathetic that there are so many sour European's that write childish comments on here. To tell you the truth I always thought Australian's were like that but I now realise that there are tons of Rossi fans who are even more childish.

All the Rossi LOVERS & Stoner HATERS on this forum have turned me into a full on Stoner supporter. He deserves support & all you clowns can continue worshiping Rossi, but I am sure as hell he wouldn't want you kids too.

Agree that, as much i dont like it, stoner deserved to win today. Also agree with others who say it is boring when races are like this - we saw more of the middle pack racing for spots than the front. Yes i am a huge rossi fan, however, i also find it boring to watch when he takes off and wins the way stoner did - yes i want him to win, but would much prefer it to go down to the last lap. Bring back the 500's, at least it was exciting. We want battles, not single file racing!!!!

Well done casey and ducati (as much as i dont like the bloke, and im an aussie - at least he smiled).

Be good to see Hayden battling again once they get the engine sorted to last full race distance! Go rossi.

Yup, and the sad thing is that the man they all worship, rossi, even rates stoner very highly.

I've just realised that it's not worth trying to change the lame groupie mindset. The appreciation they have for the fact that setting up a bike is as important as riding ability is non-existant.

All these losers harp on and on about rossi's riding talent and dont realise that his speed is as much to do with his technical know-how, INCLUDING his own ability to set up and benefit from TC. What, you think stoner is the only one making gains through set up? Oh my.

God it just makes me cringe listening to some of the ill informed garbage that comes out of some peoples mouths.

i have been working in donigton park for more than 8 yrs now.. and i know some thing for sure. and every one in the paddock knows it that the ducati is still long way in front of yamaha and honda in engine performance. ITS NOT MEASURE OF WHO HAS THE TOP SPEED. EVEN IF HONDA CATCHES UP WITH DUCATI IN TOP SPEED..IT IS NO WHERE NEAR DUCATI WHEN IT COMES TO THE TORQUE OVER LOW RPM... AND YAMAHA IS EVEN WORSE.The ducati is very fast in accelaration from low speed to mid high range.its one of the reason why ducatis always have good start from the line. even marco melandri always manages good start.

Rossi was equal to stoner this weekend in i1 i2 i3 ..but the stoner+ducati pulls .4 sec gap just accearating out in the last intermediates. its just the power of the ducati +the electronics that help it to floor that power without spinning that gives stoner the advantage in last intermediate.and a wet practice +dry race also helped stoner who found his setup quiet early on.

But all credits to stoner.. bcos he won ..but rossi and others were a bit unlucky with the weather...and am sure the yamaha engineers might have sleepless night for few weeks now on !!!!

I dont get what every body in winging about its almost as if thay want Stoner to say sorry for getting a better setup. If the Ducati is so easy to ride why cant the other even get in the to 10.
