There's more chance of Pleople being locked in a small cell with a bunk mate called "Dozer" that prefers to be called "Daddy" giving him lessons on how to be a better bi+ch than stoner licking his wounds in AMA in 2 years time

This is the Ben Coombes who is so badly off under a labour government that he could afford the extortionate entrance ticketcost, rode up there on his bike and left his car at home. When he got home he watched the race again from his blueray dvd recorder on his HD wide screen TV.

Come off it Ben, Labour are no worse than any other party and believe me you will regret it when the tories are back in power

many sports have their 'good guys' and 'bad guys'. i am reminded of the australian 500cc grand prix in 1998(?) when many fans brought black flags to the race with max biaggi's number, and waved them every time he rode past.
how does it end up like this? i don't know, i'll leave it up to you experts to answer, but i suspect it has something to do with perceived attitude. fortunately the 'good guys' appear to outnumber the 'bad guys' but it may be instructive to look to the most popular riders over the years - sheene, schwantz, doohan, rossi etc.
by the way, has anyone else noticed how much more cheerful dani pedrosa is this year when being interviewed? just an observation.

Well said Daily Thompson, you hit the nail on the head...

Casey said that he didn't know 'what he needed to do to win the crowd over'.

Only if/when he understands it's his public displays of bad attitude and occasionally quite vicious arrogance, will he find the crowd can be won.

All that said, I do agree however that there's no place for the booing of these remarkably talented sportsmen... very poor show, and really not the mainstream British way imho... they're just a loud and ignorant minority who barely know any better.

Don't normally write, but I was at Donington yesterday, and yes I was on track, admittedly under the podium, and although Rossi got the most vocal reception, I did not hear anything apart from applause for Casey or Pedrosa...admittedly a Rossi fan, you got to admire Casey's victory and he deserved it.

The circuit is still a total disgrace though...took 2.5 hours to get out, no organisation at all, the tanoy system was terrible, the podium wasn:t even in front of the grandstands, and the facilities are a disgrace. If we lose the GP to a circuit outside of the UK, this will be the reason why, although they will use the crowd invasion as an excuse.

I think some of you guys are trying to hard to understand the mind set of a very small percentage of ********s, who are unfortunately scattered across the globe in every country. It might be centuries of inbreeding, but these ****holes are out there. You might even find one or two of them is actually running a superpower or large country. Anyway, pointless generalising about this behaviour, I think Casey will have been applauded and respected by most of the crowd there.

once again all you idi*ts saying your piece, like you know what your on about. This country sucks, the tracks suck, the weather sucks, the fuel price sucks. All the riders out on track are awesome & do not deserve to get what Casey got, & whats it got to do with "charity"???? most of the money will be l*ning the organisers pocket anyway, Casey, Rossi, JT & ALL, are there to ride a bike as fast as he can, not to be Mr Popular. If that was the case they would become the third member of Ant&****inDec

get a life..........
