ben coombes

Ho Ho Ho !!

Agree with the sentiment - but suspect that the BOOers would not possess the mentality to voice a politcal opinion just after seeing their hero (and mine) fairly beaten

No - the unacceptable derision was aimed squarely at CS for having the audacity to come in ahead of Rossi by riding a brilliant race - how dare he !!!

Casey Stoner............you Europeans (that's what the Poms are now, someone tell them) should be on your knees in praise, he has put a small Euro bike manufacturer on top of the pile but no: he is a cheater, a non talent, immature etc etc.
Some people, too many, are idiots: For sure Casey worked that out a very long time ago.

kind regards

ricky

Marlow, thats it! With your insight into all and the fact that some of us here LIKE conversing with similar "Billy no-mates on the net" like ourselves has made me realise it was the Ant,Dec 'n Marlow show all along.... I know a magician doesn't like to explain the trick, but how do you hide up Ant or Dec's b0ttom without falling out on stage? And who's A$$ do you pick.. Is it the bigger more accomadating one, or the sweeter smelling one?
Only Joking with yers!! :) :) :) :)

*****--as meatloaf said two out of three ain't bad...never seen Stoner cheat???can you explain??probably not..

If it makes you feel better to think that Stoner got booed(which by the way is not fair!!!)because he won and not because he is totally obnoxiousand slagged the crowd off then ok...ignorance is bliss as they say....

If he didn't show up at the riders for health because of booing why did he show for the race???? 4sswipe no question and before you groupies start it's not my fault

Got to admit, I'm not particulary enamored by Casey. I just knew Valentino was unlikey to win at Donnington, practice and qualifying in all conditions were foreboding of that.

As a fan of VR I really wanted a win of course, but the confidence and domination of Casey all weekend determined the inevitable outcome.

Still, 2nd place and importantly more points than DP, ensured a well reasoned damage limitation outcome. Valentino should quite rightly be very worried about the now 45 points cushion he currently enjoys between himself and Casey.
That carbon fibre chasis is obviously very usable, Yamaha are you paying attention?

Contd....

A1 you be careful that regsitering does not end up on your ID card that the nasty labour government wants to bring in :). As for the word on the street or riding on it make the most of it as they wont be there long when the tories get back in (yes I'm also informed) as they don't like public spending :?

Casey is right to feel and voice disappointment about his reception. Afterall, how would it be if Toseland got booed at Philip Island? Any different? Didn't think so..

I would like to see Rossi domination of old (re: long boring races, lol) as he is a great entertainer and exudes passion for his sport and fans. I don't think legitimate and worthy challengers like Casey should be witchhunted for being too good (Re: Gibbernau).
All riders should ultimately be respected at least for making the show what it is. :)

IMO I think that the fans that booed Casey Stoner were out of line and not in good sportmanship. The man did what he is suppose to do and that is WIN. Wipe out the competition. He did that without a doubt. The thing is Casey must realize he will not win every race and thus must be gracious in defeat even if he felt that he should, could, would have won. Those thoughts of his must be kept in check. People hate it. No more acting as if he should be given a clear path in Practice, Qualifying and Racing. Kicking out your feet at slow riders is disrespectful. Acting as though everyone is out to slow him down is dumb. These things are remembered by the fans, so they show their displeasure. IMO !!!
